Hola amigas de la comunidad de Ladies Of Hive, espero que se encuentren bien. Hoy me gustaría contestar la primera pregunta del concurso #273 propuesta por @joanstewart. En un mundo en constante cambio y evolución en algunos temas, es necesario tener conocimientos para poder desenvolvernos lo más independientemente posible —aunque siempre va a ser necesaria la ayuda de otros—, por lo que es bueno mantenernos informados y aprender de lo que cada ser humano nos pueda enseñar, así es posible llenarnos de aprendizajes y sobre todo no quedarnos obsoletos mientras el tiempo avanza. Me gustaría aprovechar para invitar a @yaslenysofia y @erigm ☺️

What advice would you share explaining how you equip yourself with knowledge and coping skills in an ever changing world. Include the elderly or young who share your daily journey through constant state of transition.

Lo primero es no pensar que la edad es un impedimento para aprender o tener la curiosidad de saber nuevas cosas, la curiosidad es lo que nos da el impulso para lograr hacer aquello que nos da temor o aburrimiento por el simple hecho de que nos podemos equivocar. Todos vamos a cometer errores, la idea es que de los mismos aprendamos algo por pequeño que sea y no nos quedemos como antes, sino que seamos seres humanos más sabios y pensantes. Cuando tenemos la emoción por aprender algo sin importar la edad, debemos hacerlo ya que de igual manera el tiempo pasa y las cosas van evolucionando, por lo que es mejor intentarlo que quedarnos con la idea de que hubiese sido si hiciéramos aquello que nos llamaba la atención.
The first thing is not to think that age is an impediment to learning or being curious about new things. Curiosity is what gives us the drive to do things that scare us or bore us simply because we might make a mistake. We are all going to make mistakes, but the idea is that we learn something from them, no matter how small, and that we don't stay the same as before, but become wiser and more thoughtful human beings. When we feel excited about learning something, regardless of our age, we should do it, because time passes and things evolve anyway, so it is better to try than to be left wondering what might have been if we had done the thing that caught our attention.

Yo estoy en una edad en la que se me considera o demasiado adulta o muy joven aún, por lo que esto puede generarme angustia y ansiedad, además de esa sensación de tener que estar corriendo para alcanzar objetivos que debería cumplir porque es parte de la vida. No tengo una carrera universitaria y casi piso los treinta por lo que ya estoy como muy "mayor" para pensar en estudiar. Pero, pienso que ahora es cuando estoy más centrada y más madura de lo que estaba cuando tenía diecisiete y debía escoger la carrera que ejercería para toda la vida... Esto fue un gran dilema para mí, pero con el tiempo entendí que no podía comparar mi vida con la de los demás, porque ninguna vida se parece a otra.
I am at an age where I am considered either too old or still too young, which can cause me distress and anxiety, as well as that feeling of having to rush to achieve goals that I should meet because it is part of life. I do not have a university degree and I am almost thirty, so I am already too "old" to think about studying. But I think that now I am more focused and mature than I was when I was seventeen and had to choose the career I would pursue for the rest of my life... This was a big dilemma for me, but over time I understood that I couldn't compare my life to that of others, because no two lives are alike.

Así que ahora pienso que todo aquel que esté dispuesto a aprender puede hacerlo, ya que hay múltiples herramientas que nos ayudan con cualquier tema que nos apasiona. Por ejemplo, el internet ha evolucionado bastante y hay todo tipo de formatos en los que puede una persona aprender cosas valiosas; ya sea por libros en PDF o ePub que existen y se pueden obtener por internet, también en formato de vídeo donde podemos encontrar páginas como YouTube donde hay una gran cantidad de videos informativos, para aprender cosas básicas como idiomas, escritura, matemáticas, arte, música y muchas cosas más.
So now I think that anyone who is willing to learn can do so, as there are many tools available to help us with any subject we are passionate about. For example, the internet has evolved considerably and there are all kinds of formats in which a person can learn valuable things; whether through PDF or ePub books that exist and can be obtained online, or in video format where we can find sites such as YouTube where there are a large number of informative videos for learning basic things such as languages, writing, mathematics, art, music and many other things.

Hay personas muy jóvenes que no saben aprovechar estas herramientas ya que se distraen en otras cosas, pero el que desea aprender algo tiene la posiblidad sin importar la edad, también las personas mayores pueden llegar a aprender cosas interesantes mediante el internet; aunque les cueste un poco más por todo el tema de la tecnología y el tener que aprender a buscar o saber cómo encontrar las herramientas de su interés para aprender aquello que les guste. Hive es un ejemplo, he visto personas mayores dentro de la comunidad que se desenvuelven muy bien y que aportan mucha información importante y sobre todo la experiencia y la sabiduría que dan los años.
There are very young people who do not know how to take advantage of these tools because they get distracted by other things, but anyone who wants to learn something has the opportunity to do so regardless of age. Older people can also learn interesting things through the internet, although it may take them a little longer due to the technology involved and having to learn how to search for or find the tools they need to learn what they want. Por lo que, pienso que hay que tener la disposición y la paciencia para ponerle atención a todo aquello que queremos aprender o mejorar en cualquier ámbito de nuestra vida. Ya sea estudiar algo de manera online, como cursos de cocina, cursos de dibujo, cursos de costura... Así como también, aprovechar todas esas herramientas que nos da la tecnología hoy en día y que nos puede ayudar a encontrar nuestro propósito o pasión. No importa la edad que se tenga, nunca es tarde para aprender y también desaprender. El cerebro es un órgano increíble y que tiene la capacidad de guardar tanta información que nos puede servir para tantas cosas si sabemos darle un buen uso; las herramientas están solo hay que hacer más campañas para las personas de cualquier edad y género que tengan interés en aprender nuevas cosas y facilitarles las herramientas para que lo puedan lograr.
Therefore, I believe that we must have the willingness and patience to pay attention to everything we want to learn or improve in any area of our lives. Whether it is studying something online, such as cooking courses, drawing courses, sewing courses... As well as taking advantage of all the tools that technology gives us today and that can help us find our purpose or passion. No matter how old you are, it is never too late to learn and also to unlearn. The brain is an incredible organ that has the capacity to store so much information that can be useful for so many things if we know how to put it to good use. The tools are there; we just need to do more to encourage people of all ages and genders who are interested in learning new things and provide them with the tools to achieve this.

Eso es verdad, hoy en día existen distintos formatos para aprender lo que sea, además, yo creo que no debería ser una obligación entrar en la universidad, existen muchos oficios que también son importantísimos, pero lo más importante realmente es hacer algo que te haga feliz a cualquier edad.
