When discretion saves the day. / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Hello, friends, how's everything going?
Sometimes things happen when you least expect them, in life in general, but in this case I'm referring to photography. It turns out that I went out with a friend to sort something out and I put my camera in my backpack, because that area of Havana isn't known for being very peaceful, to say the least; I'm referring to the Centro Habana neighborhood. But after walking a few meters, I decided to take it out again because I was almost certain that something interesting would happen.
These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

And so I did; I just started shooting at random. People here don't like having their picture taken, but I still wanted to capture the image of this place to share with you.

That's why some of the photos aren't quite straight and others have a different composition; the fact is that I took them quickly, at chest height and without looking at the camera, so as not to be noticed.

Why so cautious? There are areas of the city where it's not a good idea to go with a camera because you can be mugged and people are more reserved, but paradoxically, these are the most interesting places.

Of course, you should never go alone, always accompanied.

Well, that's it for today's series; I hope you liked it; for my part, I'm happy to have this space to share my passion for street photography. Tomorrow we'll continue with more; for now, I bid you farewell, thank you very much for your time. And tell me, can it also be dangerous to go with a camera in your city? I'll read your comments.
See you soon.

Thank you very much 😊
That's the magic of photography, where circumstances or scenes appear when you least expect them, and well, you, with your photographic instinct, take advantage of that, so to speak. Great shots as always, and greetings!
Thank you, my friend. Yes, that's the kind of photography I'm passionate about—the casual, documentary kind. Merry Christmas!
