Up close is better./ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

One of the exercises I do when I take photos on the street is to sit down and listen. It's not that I like gossip—well, sometimes I do, 😉—but in these cases I do it to somehow complement what I'm observing, and it's actually been very useful. I don't want to be someone who photographs oblivious to the reality of the moment, like a separate entity, but rather immerse myself in each story to feel close to it. Today I bring you some images that I felt very close to.

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

Why do I do it? It's because there's so much warmth in the experience, and I enjoy it so much that sometimes I don't even take the photo, I just savor the experience itself. Does the same thing happen to you? I'd love to hear about your experiences.

Uno de los ejercicios que hago cuando hago fotos en la calle es sentarme a escuchar, y no es que me guste el chisme, bueno, a veces sí, jajajaa, pero en estos casos lo hago para de alguna forma complementar lo que estoy observando, y la verdad me ha venido muy bien. No quiero ser alguien que fotografía ajeno a la realidad que se vive, como un ente aparte, sino meterme dentro de cada historia para sentirla cercana. Hoy les traigo algunas imágenes de las que me sentí muy próximo.

¿Por qué lo hago? Es que hay mucha calidez en la experiencia, y lo disfruto tanto, que a veces ni tan siquiera hago la foto, solamente me quedo con la experiencia vivida. ¿Y a ustedes, les sucede parecido? Me encantaría conocer sus experiencias.
