The City is My School / Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

I believe that life is a school, we never stop learning and even more so in the photographic career, where everything is very subjective and dynamic. This weekend I approached it from this perspective, not looking for perfect photos, but images from which I could use as a learning platform. So here goes my series of the day: street photography and learning. Then I'd love to read your opinion, some advice to improve my technique and so feedback from both sides.

Creo que la vida es una escuela, nunca paramos de aprender y más en la carrera fotográfica, donde todo es muy subjetivo y dinámico. Este fin de semana lo abordé desde esta perspectiva, no buscando fotos perfectas, sino imágenes desde las cuales pudiera utilizar como plataforma de aprendizaje. Así que por aquí va mi serie del día: fotografías de calle y aprendizaje. Entonces me encantaría leer su opinión, algún consejo para mejorar mi técnica y así retroalimentarnos de las dos partes.

It is not so common to find these old cars practically useless on the street, usually people take good care of them. I would call this photo Light bath.

No es tan común encontrar estos autos antiguos prácticamente inservibles en la calle, por lo general las personas los cuidan mucho. A esta foto la nombraría Baño de luz.

These days the sun is very strong, nevertheless it is necessary to go out to the street to fight for life. This is the drama of this Havana street that never stops.

Por estos días el sol es muy fuerte, no obstante hay que salir a la calle a luchar la vida. Así es el drama de esta calle habanera que nunca se detiene.

I like to play with hidden messages, speeches that without looking for them are present in the least expected places, here two images and a poster, they tell me a lot.

Me gusta jugar con los mensajes ocultos, discursos que sin buscarlos están presentes en los lugares menos esperados, aquí dos imágenes y un cartel, a mi me dicen mucho.

One of the very positive things that this photographic style has given me is to socialize with people. Little by little I've been overcoming that stage fright, that's what it's all about, getting better every day. Well, I hope you liked today's photos. Una de las cosas muy positivas que me ha aportado este estilo fotográfico es el socializar con las personas. Poco a poco he ido superando ese miedo escénico, es que de eso se trata, superarse uno cada día. Bueno, espero que les hayan gustado las fotos de hoy.
