When I started doing street photography, I looked like a desperate madman, walking for miles and miles, trying to photograph everything that caught my attention. I would take about 400 pictures, but less than half of them I liked at the end of the day. Over time I learned to slow down, to be aware of my surroundings and to abstract a bit. It's amazing how you get to discover stories that are happening just meters away from where you are. Today I bring you some of my experiences of the week, they speak of discrimination, abandonment and above all open a portal to personal interpretation by everyone. I will explain them better on the way. Let's start.

Saludos, mis amigos
Cuando comencé a hacer fotografía callejera, parecía yo un loco desesperado, caminando kilómetros y kilómetros, intentando fotografiar todo aquello que me llamara la atención. Hacía unas 400 fotografías, pero de ellas menos de la mitad me gustaba al final de la jornada. Con el tiempo aprendí a ir más lento, a estar consciente de lo que me rodeaba y abstraerme un tanto. Es increíble como uno llega a descubrir historias que están sucediendo a solo metros de donde estás. Hoy les traigo algunas de mis experiencias de la semana, ellas hablan de discriminación, abandono y sobre todo abren un portal a interpretación personal por parte de todos. Les explico mejor en el camino. Comenzamos.

In the place there were many children playing ball, for some reason he felt rejected and sat there alone to watch, sometimes adults think that children can be a little cruel to each other, I personally understand that it is part of life and their social learning, in short it brought back memories of my childhood because at some point in my history I was that child.

En el lugar había muchos niños jugando a la pelota, por alguna cuestión este se sentía rechazado y se sentó solo allí a mirar, a veces los adultos pensamos que los niños pueden llegar a ser un poco crueles entre ellos, entiendo en lo personal que es parte de la vida y su aprendizaje social, en fin me trajo recuerdos de mi infancia porque en algún momento de mi historia yo fui ese niño.

This photograph is one of my favorites of the day, it happens that this gentleman was on the side of the square where a classical music concert was being held, and decided to draw attention by posing next to the statue, that occurred to him instantly because I was watching him, it was very creative, and it worked because it stole everyone's attention.

Esta fotografía es de mis preferidas del día, sucede que este señor estaba a un costado de la plaza donde se estaba haciendo un concierto de música clásica, y decidió para llamar la atención posar junto a la estatua, eso se le ocurrió al instante porque yo lo estaba observando, fue muy creativo, y funcionó porque se robó la atención de todos.

I found this photograph very suggestive: Jesus, behind bars or looking out of the window, what do you think?

Esta fotografía me pareció muy sugerente. ¿Jesús, tras las rejas o mirando desde la ventana, que creen?

I was about to tell the lady to please turn the other way, but it would take away from the spontaneity of the photograph.

In truth, this car doesn't really say much to me, but I saw it so beautiful, I couldn't resist.

En verdad este auto no es que me diga mucho, pero lo vi tan bonito, que no pude resistirme.

Then I sit down to rest on the sidewalk and I see this statue there as if posing for a photo.

From the corners where there are always a lot of people, in fact, some street musicians are always in the place for years and I was surprised not to see them.

De las esquinas donde siempre hay muchísimas personas, de hecho, unos músicos callejeros siempre están en el lugar por años y me llamó la atención no verlos.
