A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Today I stand here covered in ice. Maybe I feel cold, perhaps because of the winter season. It's a blessed and very cold decoration. This brings me beauty, even though many may consider it just that: a rose covered in ice because it's winter.

There's something very good about me: everything around me is dry due to the season. I'm blessed to bring passersby all my beauty despite the winter season where everything is cold and gray.

How many pass by me without even turning to look at me? Despite my red color that stands out against the white of the snow, their thoughts are elsewhere. How many worries occupy those minds? They always look ahead, they don't live, they don't enjoy, it's more of the same every day, they still don't realize the messages nature sends.

I am a message sent, a color that stands out amidst the whiteness of the snow. If I'm a little hunched over, a little sadness? Yes, because of the number of people who pass by and don't stop to look at me. I am a miracle of nature, and yet they don't see me. Or is it only in spring that I should show off my color?

What do I see in the people who pass by every day? I see lost looks, consumed by the day, where are they going? Each one has different paths. Do they smile? Only some, perhaps because that love they longed for has arrived, or because some long-awaited news has still borne fruit... Some cry inside, their faces reflect so much sadness, but they still don't see me. I say: turn around, turn around, so you can feel the miracles of nature. My color that stands out will help you realize the miracles.

Don't you believe in miracles? They just breathe and don't realize that even breathing is a miracle. They don't sit down to feel their breath, they just run, just run to reach the places that await them.
