Of course I've seen the Marilyn Monroe/Tony Curtis movie, but i don't think I have ever seen a Stage production of Some Like It Hot. During the '80s and '90s I went to New York usually four times a year to see shows on Broadway, but I haven't been to a stage show in a long time. Mobility issues and the
high prices for tickets have kept me away. I do love musicals and I'm always thrilled when there's a new one filmed for TV. I have watched Wicked and Hamilton repeatedly.
I'm glad you got to see the show! And found a fantastic shadow, too!

"high prices" - I am familiar with this problem. I am pleased with the ticket prices for performances by local theater companies, and they show good performances.
But the stars of the capital who come sometimes really shock with ticket prices, and the action on stage looks faded, the artists just come to earn money. Sometimes the name of a famous actor is on the poster, and an understudy arrives because "the actor suddenly fell ill."
