1. Some jobs are essential on holidays. Have you ever had to work on a holiday? If not, have you ever done something for someone who needed it?
Yes, I have had to work on holidays on several occasions. I work in a clinic, and although they are usually short shifts and for specific situations, in previous years I used to do it gladly, especially when there was some additional incentive. However, this year I decided not to accept shifts, since no special compensation was offered. I felt it was time to prioritize myself, rest, and spend time with my family.
2. Have you already decorated for the holidays, or are you planning to? Show us a little bit of your space and tell us about your decorations.
This year, I was a little late decorating my home. My intention was to paint before putting up the decorations, but a bad case of the flu forced me to postpone it. Fortunately, once I recovered, I was full of energy and got out the boxes of Christmas decorations. Although I don't have many, each one holds sentimental value. The best part was sharing this moment with my grandchildren. Seeing their faces light up when they saw the lights and hearing them shout, "Christmas is here!" was simply magical. We put up the tree together, and they fought over who got to put the ornaments on. Maximiliano, the youngest, discovered the light switch and had a blast changing the flashing modes.
My house is still under construction, so I don't have a living room yet, but that didn't stop me from decorating with love. I decorated the central hallway, the bedroom doors, and gave the kitchen a special touch. Everything turned out simply but filled with joy, and most importantly: we did it as a family, with lots of love and enthusiasm.

Sí, en varias ocasiones me ha tocado trabajar durante días festivos. Trabajo en una clínica, y aunque generalmente son turnos cortos y por situaciones puntuales, en años anteriores solía hacerlo con gusto, especialmente cuando había algún incentivo adicional. Sin embargo, este año decidí no aceptar esos turnos, ya que no se ofreció ninguna compensación especial. Sentí que era momento de priorizarme, descansar y compartir con mi familia.

Este año tardé un poco en decorar mi hogar. Mi intención era pintar antes de colocar los adornos, pero una fuerte gripe me obligó a posponerlo. Afortunadamente, al recuperarme, me llené de energía y saqué las cajas con los adornos navideños. Aunque no tengo muchos, cada uno guarda un valor sentimental. Lo más bonito fue compartir este momento con mis nietos. Ver sus caritas iluminadas al ver las luces encendidas y escucharlos gritar “¡Llegó Navidad!” fue simplemente mágico. Armamos juntos el arbolito, y ellos se peleaban por poner los adornos. Maximiliano, el más pequeño, descubrió el botón de las luces y se divirtió muchísimo cambiando los modos de parpadeo.
Mi casa aún está en construcción, por lo que no tengo una sala de recibo, pero eso no me impidió decorar con amor. Adorné el pasillo central, las puertas de las habitaciones y le di un toque especial a la cocina. Todo quedó sencillo pero lleno de alegría, y lo más importante: lo hicimos en familia, con mucho amor y entusiasmo.
