School Hustles.

Well, depending on the kind of family you come from, you will agree with me with how sweet, easy, uneasy, stressful and costly school can be. A lot of times I would sit down and rethink my life from AtoZ. Because at the end of the day, everything revolves around money.

And at some point, it started to feel somehow even to ask for money from home. Because they are starting to think I was not wise with my spending or was using money for another thing, but truthfully... School was just too demanding.

So, I started by reaching out to a friend of mine who was a painter. I began follow him to work at various students hostels. We don't charge so much, so we were able to get a lot of work both on and off campus. And what I was getting too wasn't much, but then it was something and it helped me fixed stuffs without having to call them at home every single time. That was also how I learned painting without paying a dime.

Aside that too, I do help some of my classmates to do their assignments and also help them fill up their practical notebooks. For that part I only get half the pay because I don't know how to draw, so I split the pay with one of my friends who always do the drawing part.

And as agric students, we have a farm and each student has their own portion and what they tend too, the big boys of my class wouldn't want to stress, so I took few up as well. It wasn't that hard, since I will have to tend to mine too, so I just do it all together at once.

Lastly, I got into the business of making frames and other customized items. It wasn't that big too, but in a student area it can come in handy.

So, the above are the few things I think anyone can get involved in. You can find someone who has a handwork and learn from them or work for them, you can help your fellow students out with school work too and het paid for it. Also, about this customized items, you don't even have to know it, just know someone who does, know about the sizes and how it's been done and all, then you can start taking it and giving it to those that actually does the real work. That was how I started too, but on my own part, I was learning it, but from the first day my boss has allowed me to take up jobs and all... He will do it while I watch and learn and gradually... I picked things up too...

These things may look small and all, but they will help you survive and reduce the way you pressure them at home.
