In my memories, the best trips with the family.. LOH #238

Greetings my Hive friends, especially to the ladies of this great community. I hope you are all doing well and that you are successful this week in everything you set out to do. Today I am sharing my entry for the weekly contest offered by this great community. This week, my friend jane1289 left us some very interesting questions. I really liked them and didn't hesitate to participate. Of the two questions, I'm going with the first one: 1️⃣ Do you prefer to travel alone, with friends, or with family? This question brought back many memories of trips I've taken as a family, and without a doubt, they have been the best in my life, unforgettable trips that we can only enjoy as a family. I respect people who like to travel alone. Some time alone is always good, but I honestly don't see myself on a trip without the mine.

Since I was little, I've been used to traveling as a family. When I was little, we traveled a lot with my mom, my stepfather, sisters, aunt, and cousins. I remember there were 8 of us in a small stroller. Don't ask me how we fit in that stroller, haha. But we did take long road trips. I can tell you that my memories are of pure happiness. I don't remember complaining about being crowded or because there were too many people. For me, it was the best thing in the world to be with my sisters and cousins. I could say that they are the best memories of my childhood and adolescence. Years ago, things were easier. Financially, we weren't very wealthy, but even so, we used to travel every vacation or every weekend. Maybe it's a cultural thing. In my country (Venezuela), it's very common to see, especially on vacation, many families traveling together, where there's no shortage of harmony and camaraderie. Without a doubt, when you're with the people you love, and who are so important to you, every moment is a good one. Note: In the photos, I'm the thinnest girl haha.

Looking back at these albums and remembering so many family trips made me a little nostalgic, but at the same time happy and grateful to God and life for allowing me to experience these moments with my family. Almost all of my family is now scattered across several countries. Now, when we travel, it's just my mother, my little daughter, and me, along with my husband's family, whom I love like blood relatives. We still always travel together, and I love that my little daughter loves it so much every time we go on trips with her cousins, grandpa, and uncles. I think these trips help us strengthen that love and unity for family, which should never be lost. My little Mica is an only child, and when we tell her we're going on a family trip, her face lights up with happiness. So, without a doubt, I want my trips to continue being with my family. And hopefully, soon, I'll ask to see my family again, and we can do it again. Those wonderful trips.

This was such a heartwarming read, Marivic! Family trips really do leave the most unforgettable memories, and I love how your story brings those joyful moments to life. Your little Mica is so lucky to be growing up with that same love for togetherness.
