¡Hive Top Chef! | Pepperoni pizza with a mozzarella cheese-stuffed crust.
Greetings my friends, I hope you're all doing well and having a wonderful weekend. Today, I'm sharing my entry for the recipe contest hosted by the Qurator team, Qurator's: Hive Top Chef! | Pizza. This week's star ingredient is the fabulous pizza, one of my little Micaela's favorite foods, and everyone else's at home. That wonderful combination of melted cheese, tomato sauce, and your favorite toppings is simply unbeatable. For today's post, I'm making a pizza with pepperoni and a cheese-stuffed crust. It's my first time making it with a stuffed crust, so I hope it turns out well, haha. Let's get started.

Ingredients:

3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups warm water
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons instant yeast
-- To prepare the pizza

- 5 ripe tomatoes
300g mozzarella cheese
100g pepperoni
100g ham
Oregano to taste, paprika, salt, pepper, a touch of sugar
--
Preparation:
1- In a bowl, add the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Mix and let it rest in a warm place for 10 minutes, or until the mixture is foamy.

2- After 10 minutes, add the flour to the mixing bowl, along with the salt, activated yeast, and oil. Beat at medium speed, continuing to mix until you obtain a smooth batter.

- Next, remove the dough from the mixer, place it on a work surface, knead it a little more if necessary, and form it into a ball. Add a little oil to the mixing bowl, place the dough inside, cover it with a plastic bag or a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

4- While the dough is rising, we prepare the tomato sauce. It's very easy. Simply bring the tomatoes to a boil. When they are well cooked, or when their skin begins to wrinkle and crack, remove them from the heat, blend them in a blender, and return them to the heat. Now add a little oregano, salt, sugar, paprika, and basil, if you have it. Once it boils and thickens slightly, remove it from the heat and let it rest.

5- Once the rising time is over, remove the dough from the bowl, deflate it, and roll it out with a rolling pin. Shape it according to the size of the baking tray you'll be using. Roll it out well and, using the same rolling pin, place it on a greased and floured baking tray. Then, fill the edges with mozzarella cheese.

6- Now it's time to assemble our pizza. With all the ingredients on the table, we start with the sauce, then the cheese, the ham, and the pepperoni. With this extra amount, I was able to prepare two pizzas, one with cheese, ham and pepperoni, and another for the little one in the house with only ham and cheese. It goes in the oven for approximately 45 minutes or until you see it golden brown.

Now I'll say goodbye, my friends. I hope you enjoyed this recipe. The dough is very soft and delicious. See you next time, blessings.
