Bienvenidos apreciada comunidad de Hive, les comparto mi participación en la edición 280.ª del concurso de la comunidad damas de Hive, dando respuesta a la primera pregunta de la amiga @irenenavarroart.

Welcome, dear Hive community! I'm sharing my entry for the 280th edition of the Hive Ladies community contest, answering the first question from our friend @irenenavarroart.

Si tuvieras ahora mismo el poder de crear una ley única en tu país,
¿cuál sería?
En estos tiempos modernos, cada vez más globalizado donde la humanidad enfrenta grandes desafíos, sobretodo en las desigualdades sociales, vemos el sufrimiento de una comunidad poco previligiada que sufre por no cubrir sus necesidades más urgentes para mejorar su calidad de vida como comida, alimentación, recreación y poder asistir a un centro de salud pública sin temor a no ser atendido o a no poder cubrir el tratamiento.

If you had the power right now to create a single law in your country, what would it be?
In these modern, increasingly globalized times, where humanity faces great challenges, especially regarding social inequalities, we see the suffering of an underprivileged community that struggles to meet its most urgent needs for improving its quality of life, such as food, nutrition, recreation, and access to public health centers without fear of being turned away or unable to afford treatment.

En la Constitución venezolana se puede leer el "Artículo 83: Señala que la salud es un derecho social fundamental y obligación del Estado, el cual promoverá políticas para elevar la calidad de vida y el bienestar colectivo." son solo palabras para llenar una página, cuantas personas sin recursos están necesitando una operación y no los operan porque no tienen dinero para comprar el material quirúrgico, otras tienen tratamiento y enseguida salen los familiares a pedir entre los conocidos para poder comprar, ayer mismo estuve conversando con una conocida sobre el alto costo de la vida, me comentó que ella esporádicamente come proteínas, lo poco que gana no alcanza para esos lujos como ella lo describió para mi es una necesidad.

The Venezuelan Constitution states "Article 83: It establishes that health is a fundamental social right and an obligation of the State, which will promote policies to raise the quality of life and collective well-being." These are just words to fill a page. How many people without resources need an operation and can't get it because they don't have the money to buy the surgical materials? Others receive treatment, and then their families immediately have to ask acquaintances for money to buy them. Just yesterday, I was talking to an acquaintance about the high cost of living. She told me that she only eats protein sporadically; the little she earns isn't enough for those luxuries, as she described them. For me, they are a necessity.

Me gustaría crear una ley única o normativa que contenga mucha humanidad, que nos proteja como seres humanos, que seamos prioridad en los gobernantes que el sistema ponga sus ojos en la vida como algo esencial, vivimos en un mismo planeta pero con diferente posibilidades, mientras unos tienen opciones y un sin fin de oportunidades otros viven en extrema pobreza, carencias y mucha incertidumbre, necesitamos políticas que nos ofrezcan seguridad y estabilidad, los venezolanos llevamos tiempo viviendo en modo supervivencia diaria, es por eso que hemos desarrollado tantos síntomas dañinos para nuestra salud mental y física como ansiedad, angustia e insomnio entre otras, necesitamos tener garantizado salud, comida, vestido, servicios y trabajo digno para cubrir esas necesidades.
Así que me gustaría desafiar el proyecto de leyes e impulsorar una Ley, valga la redundancia que nos contenga a todos con igualdad de condiciones, que reconozca el valor a la vida y a la dignidad humana.

I would like to create a single law or regulation that embodies humanity, that protects us as human beings, that prioritizes us for our leaders, and that makes the system see life as something essential. We live on the same planet but with different opportunities. While some have choices and countless possibilities, others live in extreme poverty, deprivation, and great uncertainty. We need policies that offer us security and stability. Venezuelans have been living in daily survival mode for a long time, which is why we have developed so many harmful symptoms for our mental and physical health, such as anxiety, anguish, and insomnia, among others. We need guaranteed access to healthcare, food, clothing, services, and dignified work to meet these needs. Therefore, I would like to challenge the current bill and promote a law—if you will—that includes us all on equal terms, that recognizes the value of life and human dignity.
