Saludos a todos los hivers y en especial a las bellas damas de esta comunidad Ladies of Hive, espero que la estén pasando muy bien. Hoy me uno a la iniciativa de @priyanarc que corresponde al concurso numero #278.
Greetings to all Hivers, and especially to the lovely ladies of this community Ladies of Hive. I hope you are all doing well. Today, I am joining @priyanarc's initiative for contest number #278.
1.- Si pudieras rediseñar el mundo de una pequeña manera, ¿Qué cambiarías?
Rediseñar el mundo, aunque sea en pequeña manera, es un ejercicio fascinante. Si tuviera que proponer un cambio, consideraría implementar espacios verdes en entornos urbanos. Esto incluiría más parques, jardines comunitarios y techos verdes en edificios.
La razón detrás de este cambio es que los espacios verdes no solo mejoran la calidad del aire y reducen la temperatura en las ciudades, sino que también fomentan la interacción social y el bienestar mental. Crear entornos donde las personas puedan conectarse con la naturaleza y entre sí podría tener un impacto positivo en la salud física y emocional de las comunidades.
Además, estos espacios podrían ser utilizados para la educación ambiental, promoviendo la sostenibilidad y el cuidado del medio ambiente desde una edad temprana.
En resumen, un pequeño rediseño hacia una mayor integración de la naturaleza en nuestras ciudades podría enriquecer nuestras vidas de muchas maneras.
2.- ¿De qué simple alegría crees que el mundo necesita más?
Creo que el mundo necesita más de la simple alegría de la conexión humana. En un tiempo en que la tecnología a menudo nos separa, fomentar interacciones auténticas y significativas puede ser transformador. Esto incluye cosas tan simples como sonreír a un extraño, compartir una conversación con un vecino o participar en actividades comunitarias.
La alegría de la conexión se manifiesta en pequeños actos de bondad, en el apoyo mutuo y en el sentido de pertenencia. Promover un ambiente donde las personas se sientan valoradas y escuchadas puede generar un efecto dominó, mejorando no solo el bienestar individual, sino también el de la comunidad en su conjunto.
1.- If you could redesign the world in a small way, what would you change?
Redesigning the world, even in a small way, is a fascinating exercise. If I had to propose a change, I would consider implementing green spaces in urban environments. This would include more parks, community gardens, and green roofs on buildings.
The reason behind this change is that green spaces not only improve air quality and reduce temperatures in cities, but also encourage social interaction and mental well-being. Creating environments where people can connect with nature and each other could have a positive impact on the physical and emotional health of communities.
In addition, these spaces could be used for environmental education, promoting sustainability and care for the environment from an early age.
In short, a small redesign towards greater integration of nature into our cities could enrich our lives in many ways.
2.- What simple joy do you think the world needs more of?
I think the world needs more of the simple joy of human connection. At a time when technology often separates us, fostering authentic and meaningful interactions can be transformative. This includes things as simple as smiling at a stranger, sharing a conversation with a neighbor, or participating in community activities.
The joy of connection manifests itself in small acts of kindness, mutual support, and a sense of belonging. Promoting an environment where people feel valued and listened to can have a ripple effect, improving not only individual well-being but also that of the community as a whole.

Human connection is very important. I've known folks who cannot interact socially because they've spent so much of their lives behind the screens of modern technology! So sad; not to know a smile, or a hug, or a chance conversation with someone you don't even know.
