Hello, friends!!! As always, it's a privilege to return to this space where so many talented hivers come together.

This is another opportunity to share the music we love, and singing together will always be an honor for me.

On this occasion, I dare to cover this popular song, which, sung by Irene Cara, won an Oscar for Best Original Song as part of the Flashdance soundtrack. It's a song with an excellent vibe, whose lyrics convey a positive message of dedication and fighting for your dreams. It speaks of focusing on the goal, of passionately enjoying what we do, in this case, dance, as it was written specifically to portray the story of this girl who aspires to be a dancer.

Personally, it's a song I love because it's also part of the soundtrack of my life, transporting me back to my childhood and singing of personal growth.

Como siempre es un privilegio regresar a este espacio donde confluyen tantos hivers talentosos.

Esta es otra oportunidad para compartir la música que amamos y cantar entre ustedes siempre será un honor para mí.

En esta ocasión me atrevo a versionar este popular tema, que en la voz de Irene Cara, mereciera un Oscar por la mejor canción original, como parte de la banda sonora de la banda sonora de la película Flashdance.

Es una canción con una vibra excelente, cuya letra transmite un mensaje positivo de entrega y lucha por los sueños. Habla de enfocarse en la meta, de disfrutar con pasión lo que hacemos, en este caso la danza, pues fue escrita precisamente para retratar de alguna manera la historia de esta muchacha que aspira a ser bailarina.

Personalmente es una canción que amo por ser también parte de la banda sonora de mi vida, transportarme a mi infancia y cantar a la superación personal.
