Visions of a Fallen Kingdom.

Wallpaper Worth Pictures
I read this: "The contest themes from @gamingphoto help us see things in a video game that we would normally ignore" in one of the posts here, and I couldn't agree more, so I decided to participate.

These are the first images I captured from Dark Souls 3, one of my favorite games.

Moments before burying the sword that serves as a bonfire for rest and teleportation to different areas of the world. Until now, in the previous installments, these were seen as just an icon, but the fact that we can place them ourselves is absolutely amazing and deserved to be captured. It's one of the images I use as wallpaper on my phone.

And here it is already lit, an alternative with a slightly fun blur.

This photo of the great Lothric Castle couldn't be missing. If there's one thing you'll see a lot of, it's images of beautiful castles in this game, and they are fantastic to save and use, even though I don't have the necessary technical requirements to capture the images in the highest quality.

A zone reeking of evil that made me suspect it would surely have a boss, and the area boss who couldn't be missing.

One of the most impressive contemplative views up to that point, and at the same time, it makes us see how small we are before the vast world that lies below.

Demons kidnapping.

And more majestic castles.

For lovers of macabre things, it looks like it was taken straight from the story of Vlad the Impaler.

One of the first major bosses that appeared. I took the trouble to take this capture because I knew that once the battle started, it would be difficult to get any, and well, I was right.

And now, yes: my favorite image of all, I think it would be this one. The details, the architecture, and the design seem magnificent to me—a tremendous amount of work behind all of this. That's why I've loved the Souls games since I first discovered them.

The duo of knights that seems to recall the ones from Dark Souls 1 who were with the cleric.

These 3 also seem very good to me, perhaps because of the effort it took me to reach that area, and also because I discovered that with the binoculars I could get a better view to capture.

A charred black knight giving me his back after slamming me into the floor 🥲

Cosplay of Aragorn lol.

The creepy and macabre thing. In this game, it's common to find disturbing things, but this one shocked me a lot.

The Great Wolf of Farron. For some reason, it reminds me of the Executioner's Chariot from Dark Souls 2.

Taking a breather.

And now, yes: my favorites—the Eternal Guard, who are locked in perpetual conflict, trying to fulfill some special oath. They have so much aura and are brutal. Posture, class, design—it has it all.
