Shadows on "Bolivar" Square..! || Shadow Hunters Smash Contest Round 397

Walking through Bolívar Square in my city, it is difficult not to feel the need to stay a while and contemplate its surroundings under the shade of its large trees, which have been providing coolness to all visitors for more than 60 years. This plaza has the privilege of being in a strategic location where all of us who go downtown pass by it, with several public institutions surrounding it, which allow for a busy flow of people in this area. The governor's office, the house of Ramos Sucre, and Andrés Eloy Blanco are some of the emblematic places that give it even more relevance.

De paseo por la plaza Bolívar de mi ciudad, es difícil no sentir la necesidad de quedarse un rato a contemplar sus alrededores debajo de la sombra de sus grandes árboles que se encuentran desde hace más de 60 años brindando frescura a todos los visitantes; esta plaza tiene el privilegio de estar en un punto estratégico donde todos los que vamos al centro nos queda de paso, con varias instituciones públicas que la rodean, que permiten que el flujo de personas por esta zona sea concurrida; la gobernación, la casa de Ramos Sucre y Andrés Eloy blanco son algunos de los emblemáticos lugares que le aportan aún más relevancia.

Currently, the weather here in the eastern part of the country is extremely hot due to the strong rays of the sun, so many of us who pass by are tempted to sit down and rest on the benches. Like all Bolívar squares, it has a large and beautiful statue of our liberator in the center, which radiates that heroic symbol that all Venezuelans respect and admire. As you can see in the photographs I am sharing with you, the shadows of the trees also envelop this monument, where the great height and leafiness of the trees planted here are evident in the reflections that rest on the ground. The position of the statue also faces the sun's rays, which are already intense by mid-morning, forming a clear projection on much of the steps where its beautiful outline falls.

Actualmente el clima acá en el Oriente del país es sumamente caluroso gracias a lo fuerte de los rayos del sol, por lo que muchas personas que pasamos por aquí nos vemos tentadas a sentarnos a descansar en sus bancos. Como toda plaza Bolívar tiene una gran y hermosa estatua de nuestro libertador en todo el centro, la cual irradia ese símbolo heroico que todo venezolano respeta y admira, como pueden ver en las fotografías que les comparto las sombras de los arboles arropan tambien este monumento, donde se evidencia la gran altura y frondosidad de los árboles que aquí están plantados en los reflejos que se posan en el suelo, así como también la posición de la estatua le hace frente a los rayos del sol que a media mañana ya están intensos formando una clara proyección en gran parte de las escalinatas donde recae su hermoso contorno.
