Shadows from the Sculptures at the Monument in a Sunny Day ☀️ 🇻🇪 || Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest Entry Round 400

On one of my exercise outings, I walked with my son along a very long avenue called “Cacique Maraguey,” which is located near my home and is ideal for exercising because it is right next to the sea, offering all of us who go there a wonderful view, as well as the refreshing sea breeze that is characteristic of this type of place. Even on a sunny day, you feel refreshed as you jog or walk along this road.

En una de mis salidas para hacer ejercicios, recorrí junto a mi hijo una avenida muy extensa llamada "Cacique Maraguey", que está ubicada cerca de mi residencia y que es ideal para ejercitarse, porque queda justo al lado del mar, ofreciendo a todos los que vamos ahí una vista maravillosa, además de sentir una frescura característica de este tipo de lugar gracias a la brisa marina, que aunque sea un día soleado te refrescas a medida que vas trotando o caminando en esta vía.

I usually leave at 6 in the morning so that I don't have to face the sun on my way back from the hike, but this particular morning we left an hour late, so when we arrived at the Monument area, the sun's rays had already come out and were quite intense. Despite this, I stayed for a while doing stretches, and my son helped me take some photos with my cell phone, since the view here is very beautiful. I captured some images with very sharp shadows, which I am sharing with you today. As you can see, you can easily appreciate the shadows produced by the sun's rays shining directly on the sculpture in the middle of the square, which was built as a tribute to the city of Cumaná, Venezuela, on its 500th anniversary.

Acostumbro a salir a las 6 de la mañana para que no toparme con el sol a mi regreso de la travesía, pero esta mañana en particular salimos con una hora de retardo por lo que cuando llegamos al sector el Monumento ya había salido los rayos del sol, que estaban algo intensos, a pesar de ello me quede un rato haciendo estiramientos, y mi hijo me ayudo a tomar unas fotos con mi celular, ya que la vista aquí es muy hermosa, captando algunas imagines con sombras muy marcadas que son las que les comparto el día de hoy, como pueden ver se puede apreciar fácilmente las sombras que se producen por los rayos del sol que inciden directamente sobre la escultura que se encuentra en medio de la plaza, el cual se construyó como tributo a la ciudad de Cumaná, Venezuela en sus 500 años de fundación.

This sculpture has long, tall pillars with somewhat slender figures of indigenous women on their edges, which, in contrast to the sun, easily cast the silhouettes of the pillars across the floor. In another of the photos, my shadow is shown in contrast to my body, as the sun's rays were shining directly on me from where I was standing. So, as you can see, that morning, in addition to exercising with my son, I was able to get a little tan. Esta escultura tiene unos pilares largos y altos con figuras de mujeres aborígenes un tanto esbeltas en sus bordes, que en contraste con el sol se pueden dibujar fácilmente las siluetas de los pilares a lo largo del piso. En otra de las fotos sale es mi sombra en contraposición a mi cuerpo, ya que los rayos del sol los tenia de frente, en esa ubicación donde estaba, asi que como pueden ver esa mañana además de ejercítame con mi hijo pude broncearme un poco; esta fue mi entrada para el concurso "Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest Round 400", propuesto por la amiga @melinda010100, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
