A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

I'm a fan of Impressionism, and I couldn't help thinking that Pierre August Renoir might have wanted to turn this photograph into a painting for me. I don't know; his mood is unpredictable.

Pierre loves France... Oh! He does, he's fascinated by it! While I enjoy the outdoors, open spaces, and nature, he insists on wasting time in crowded cafes and painting them. One of these days, he'll end up in jail for invasion of privacy... Yes, yes, I know you're thinking I'm exaggerating because I convinced him to paint the wealthy ladies in the countryside... Do you think that was easy or pleasant? Do you think he was grateful? On the contrary, he spent almost all his money paying off his friends' debts and sending money to his relatives. They've never come to see him! She didn't even buy any new paints.

Anyway, I immortalized this beautiful day in this photo and printed it for you. You'll find it inside an envelope I set aside for you, along with stickers and supplies for your journaling. I actually turned it into a postcard.

It's a beautiful morning on the Seine, with people dressed beautifully (I love the aesthetics of the composition and the gondoliers' uniforms). It makes me feel... chic, while I sip my cappuccino. By the way, the Seine is finally clean. You should come, I miss you.

And no, I'm not in love with P, as you suggested in your last letter. You're safe from insults because you're my only pen pal, okay!

Soy fanática del impresionismo, no pude evitar pensar que Pierre August Renoir quizás hubiese querido convertir esta fotografía en una pintura para mi, no lo sé, su humor es impredecible.

A Pierre le encanta Francia... Oh! que si le gusta, ¡le fascina!, mientras yo disfruto el aire libre, los espacios abiertos y la naturaleza, él se empecina en perder el tiempo en cafeterías atestadas de gente y pintarlas, un día de estos terminará preso por invasión a la privacidad... Si, si, ya sé que estarás pensando que exagero porque lo convencí de pintar a las señoras adinerada en el campo.. ¿tu crees que eso fué fácil o agradable? ¿tu crees que me lo agradeció? Al contrario, gastó casi todo su dinero pagando las deudas de sus amigos y enviándole dinero a sus familiares ¿qué nunca han venido a conocerlo!; ni siquiera compró pinturas nuevas..

En fin, inmortalicé éste hermoso día en ésta foto y la imprimí para ti, la encontrarás dentro de un sobre que te puse aparte, con calcomanias y materiales para tu journaling, de hecho la convertí en una postal.

Es una hermosa mañana en el Sena, con gente vestida maravillosamente (amo la estética de la composición y los uniformes de los gondoleros), me hace sentir.. chic, mientras me bebo mi capuchino, por cierto, el Sena por fin está limpio, ¡deberías venir, te extraño.

Y no, no estoy enamorada de P, como sugeriste en tu última carta, te salvas de un insulto, porque eres mi único penpal ok!
