My unlearned skill

source

Most skills are learned while others could be imbred. I would think of mine as a natural gift - maybe a gift from God. That skill happens to be teaching.

I have been a teacher for years. No, I have never taught in the four walls of a classroom. Ever! But I am a home educator. I have been doing the job for a long time now. I've had to do that for a number of kids, and for all of them, the results are mindblowing.

If anyone had me years back that I would ever delve into this area, even if it was for mere side hustle, I never would have believed. But look at me now. I'm enjoying the activity. It's a lot to teach. The role cones with studying, proper interpretation, attention yo details and needs of kids(each kid), and most of all, lots of parience. I'm someone with a lot of discipline, but as much as teaching has strained me, I can say for a fact that it has helped build my attention, my patience, and has made me better.

With teaching, tactics, and skills, just come easily to me. I just know what to do and how to do it, and I always deliver. The children I teach are always at the top of their games. My lessons aren't even a bore because I make sure that we do a lot of practicals, i try to engage them such that we have some fun conversations-maube relating to them or just off topic-, and I breakdown explanations to the barest and with illustrations so that they flow easily and to help them recollect. This doesn't even just stop at teaching kids for academic work. For other tasks that i am knowledgeable in, i rightly pass the knowledge. I sometimes take up teaching at certain events and in capacities that i can. And every time, i dont just get appreciated for how well i passed the information/knowledge, i feel a high level satusfaction by my method.

Teaching is that one thing i know to do well, which i consider as both a habit and a talent. This is because, while i know it's like an imbred gift, practicing it has also helped my social skills, and from doing research and constantly speaking to people, i have come to he more knowledgeable.

I hope that this was interesting to read.
Thanks for coming around.
