FIRST TWO TASKS AS PRESIDENT

spurce
Any Nigerian who sees this prompt topic will have a lot to say. First, there'd be so much to complain about that it will take a while to get done getting all out. I feel like these sort of discussions are a trigger to us because, evidently, things are not going as good, nor even half as good as they should. Every aspect of our society is polluted, and not one is functional and good enough that you can say, "Oh, at least we have this to make up for all the ills.' Well, that is if you take away our senses of humor and the swiftness with which we adapt.
Our problems range from the really big issues to the very minute ones. So while we blame those at the helm of affairs of the country, we are to blame too for some of these issues are orchestrated pr made even worse by us.
For one, there's the issue of bad governance. We are at a time when, although there are elected and appointed officials in the seats of power, handling different sectors, not one seems to be working. Rather at the start of the year, the read-out big, fat budgets for projects that we never get to see get executed.
I know they say that it's all talks and big grammar about the many good things one would do if they held a significant position, until they actually have the power. But I say they should try me and see if there'd be no working.
This in no way answers the question directly, but one important thing I'd do if I became president is to make every government official go through serious auditing and anyone who isn't straightforward would be unseated and made to face the full wrath of the law. These people seem to just cone to power after making big promises only to enjoy the benefits of their appointments and more. I guess something in there makes them forget that they're called to serve.
The first thing I'd do if I become president is make the cost of feeding easy. This may be difficult at first, considering that I have in mind to make the people begin to look inward and use more of our local stock. The reliance on the dollar is taking a toll on us. Prices of foodstuff keep going up by the hour, and there's so much hunger in the land. I'd look into the situation and ensure that things are less expensive so people can at least fill their tummies as that is a basic requirement and should be the least and easiest thing they can afford drop having to work so hard.
Then, I'd look into Healthcare. Our practitioners are fleeing the country daily due to poor conditions as little salary with barely any incentives. The hospital buildings are in bad conditions, and we barely have functional equipment and machines to work with. As president, the lives of my problem should be my priority, so I'd loom into the system and ensure that I do what I have to.
I hope that this was interesting to read. Thanks for coming around.
The expenses on food is too much, it's a big issue that with much money you can't still get enough. Food should be here least of our worries in this country. We have it in abundance but the economy has affected the price of food.
Health is an important aspect, it determines how well we live. The health sector is a very bad shape, we don't have enough quality hospitals in each community.
Food and health is a vital aspect to consider.
