๐Ÿบ Arschlecken 350 โ€“ A Beer You Don't Forget

avatar

Some time ago, I was visiting a client and somehow we started talking about beer. Well, for them beer seemed to always be a topic anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰ So I told them about the awesome beer community on Hive โ€“ and thatโ€™s when one of the guys suddenly handed me a beer. Not just any beer โ€“ it was called Arschlecken 350.

I mean, come on โ€“ with a name like that, how could I not take it home and try it?

If you translate it loosely to English, itโ€™s something like "Lickin' Ass 350". No clue what the 350 stands for, but I guess thatโ€™s part of the mystery. The name alone makes it worth drinking.

So today, I finally opened it. The bottle said best before a few days ago โ€“ but hey, itโ€™s beer. Should be fine. Just drink it and move on ๐Ÿ˜„

Turns out, itโ€™s a classic Bavarian Helles โ€“ brewed according to the German Purity Law from 1516. Itโ€™s clean, crisp, and very drinkable. With 4.9% ABV, itโ€™s easy going. Sometimes the story behind a beer makes it taste even better โ€“ and this one definitely had a good one.

Haha, that's a hilarious name! This sounds like the type of beer that I would really like. Those Germans/Bavarians really know their stuff.
