House Of The Forest Folks

This is my entry to the Worldbuilding contest by @cabalen. The instruction is to design a house for the forest folks.

I made a mound of earth deep in the dark forest floor where little critters live. The mound is from the mud by the river it shimmers when the moon hit it. The microscopic fairy dust on the mud makes it shimmer when light shines upon it. There is a main wooden entrance and upstairs are several rooms for the critters to rest. There is a mushroom chimney for cooking for warmth and light. Outside there is a small kitchen garden for growing herbs, vegetables and mushrooms
