My entry Ladies of Hive Community Contest #277 Edition (ENG - ESP)

Hello to all the queens and friends of this community.

I have always considered myself a strong and blessed woman. Life has given me its lights and shadows, and I am grateful for all that. I have learned that each day has its own color and that each color is full of nuances so you can choose which one to hold on to; but there are days when the winds feel stronger.

There are days when, friend @sacra97, I would really like to have a time machine. Like today, I feel that life is pulling too hard and my strength doesn't seem to be enough; Today I would like to travel to the past and sit on my grandmother's legs, where fears or sadness became songs and sayings; that place where I always felt safe. My grandmother knew how to overcome pain or problems with an immense load of fantasy; I think I inherited this head full of always walking in the clouds a little bit from her.

So tonight, when the time comes to put my body to rest, I plan to go on tiptoe so as not to wake the children and escape for a while in your time machine to feel that magical hug from my grandmother and recover all the strength that the wind has tried to steal from me today.

And well, to lift my spirits a little in what the dream appears, I have been reviewing among the folders of my youth some of those silly things experienced with a suitor and, of course, I found this very crazy anecdote.

When I was a teenager, I had to wear those dental devices called braces. I was very self-conscious about it and there was a boy who always looked for some very, very bad compliment that had to do with my devices. I didn't even want to see it. A few years later we met again and it turns out that he was in love with me, but he didn't know how to approach me. Of course, we laughed a lot remembering so many things from those days. Today we are very good friends.

Thank you, community, for sharing this little piece of my life with you and for making me laugh remembering things like this.

Hola a todas las reinas y amigos de esta comunidad.

Siempre me he considerado una mujer fuerte y bendecida. La vida me ha regalado sus luces y sus sombras, y doy gracias por todo eso. He aprendido que cada día tiene su propio color y que cada color está lleno de matices para que puedas elegir a cuál aferrarte; pero hay días en que los vientos se sienten más fuertes.

Hay días en que, amiga @sacra97, me gustaría mucho tener una máquina del tiempo. Como hoy, que siento que la vida está tirando demasiado fuerte y mis fuerzas parecen no alcanzar; hoy quisiera viajar al pasado y sentarme en las piernas de mi abuela, donde los miedos o tristezas se convertían en canciones y refranes; ese lugar donde siempre me sentía a salvo. Mi abuela sabía sortear los dolores o problemas con una carga inmensa de fantasía; creo que esta cabeza plena de andar siempre en las nubes la heredé un poco de ella.

Así que esta noche, cuando llegue la hora de poner a descansar el cuerpo, pienso ir de puntillas para no despertar a los niños y escaparme un rato en tu máquina del tiempo para sentir ese abrazo mágico de mi abuela y recuperar todas las fuerzas que hoy el viento ha pretendido robarme.

Y bueno, para levantar un poco el ánimo en lo que aparece el sueño, he estado revisando entre las carpetas de mi juventud alguna de esas cosas tontas vividas con algún pretendiente y, claro, hallé esta anécdota muy loca.

En mi adolescencia, debí usar de esos aparatos dentales que llaman brackets. Vivía muy acomplejada por ello y había un muchacho que siempre me buscaba algún piropo muy, pero muy malo, que tenía que ver con mis aparatos. Yo no lo quería ni ver. Unos años más tarde nos volvimos a encontrar y resulta que vivía enamorado de mí, pero no sabía cómo acercarse. Por supuesto, reímos mucho recordando tantas cosas de aquellos días. Hoy somos muy buenos amigos.

Gracias, comunidad, por compartir este pedacito de mi vida con ustedes y por hacerme reír recordando cosas como esta.
