Hace poco, me invitaron a participar en una conferencia que dos psicólogas ofrecerían en nuestra ciudad, sobre autismo, adolescencia y sexualidad.

Asistí esperando eso, una conferencia, pero las especialistas la convirtieron en un debate. Entre las preguntas que se hicieron estaba precisamente: ¿Si fueras un animal, cuál serías?

Fueron muchas las respuestas, las risas y la reflexión. ¿Cuál escogí? Bueno, yo sería un caballo, pero ¿por qué?

Es un animal aparentemente dócil pero muy seguro de sí mismo, se deja llevar pero cuando presiente que ese no es el camino, se detiene y nada ni nadie lo hace ir donde él sabe que no debe, es paciente y, sobre todo, es capaz de aguantar el peso del mundo... Sí, esa fue mi respuesta.

Cuando la vida te sorprende con un hijo autista, aprendes de fortalezas, te conviertes en alguien más firme, pero manso y tierno, a uno le crece algo en el alma que lo ayuda a caminar entre la suavidad y la dureza.

Dentro de su definición espiritual, el caballo es identificado como un guía espiritual, poderoso y enérgico. En él hay nobleza, gracia y vitalidad. Es un ser que ama correr en libertad, lleva el aire en el pecho.

Yo amo esa libertad, amo sentir la brisa en el alma, pero también, al correr, sé que ese que llevo sobre mí, es un ser especial, sé que a pesar de lo agreste del camino, él confía en mí y yo también confío en él.

There were many answers, laughs and reflection. Which one I chose? Well, I would be a horse, but why?

It is a seemingly docile but very sure animal of itself, it is carried away but when it presses that this is not the way, it stops and nothing and nobody makes it go where he knows that he should not, he is patient and, above all, he is able to endure the weight of the world ... Yes, that was my answer.

When life surprises you with an autistic child, you learn from strengths, you become someone firmer, but meek and tender, something grows in the soul that helps him walk between softness and hardness.

Within its spiritual definition, the horse is identified as a spiritual, powerful and energetic guide. In it there is nobility, grace and vitality. It is a being who loves running, carries the air on the chest.

I love that freedom, I love to feel the breeze in my soul, but also, when running, I know that the one that I carry on me is a special being, I know that despite the rugged way, he trusts me and I also trust him.
