¡Hola queridos usuarios de #hive! He podido conectarme con esta actividad de la semana número #237 de la comunidad #ladiesdehive de una manera muy cercana. La segunda sugerencia vino como anillo al dedo. En estos momentos mi padre pasa por momentos diferentes se puede decir que algo difícil, ya que desde hace algunos meses venía con la hemoglobina baja, consiguieron sangre en sus heces, todo para recibir el diagnostico de algunos tumores en el colon que estaba obstruyendo sus intestinos y a su vez no podía defecar de manera natural.

Mi padre tiene otra familia, pero me llevo muy bien con mis hermanos, ya todos están mayores, pero eso dificulta un poco las decisiones, poder estar más cerca en estos momentos. Me gustaría atenderlo más de cerca, con más libertad, pero entiendo que todo es por el bien de nuestro padre. En este momento tiene las visitas restringidas.

Mi padre ya está a unos cuatro meses de cumplir 82 años, casi somos de la misma edad, esto que escribo es para salir un poco de la melancolía del tema y la situación que actualmente presenta mi padre. Mi madrastra lo atiende muy bien, no me puedo quejar, está pendiente de su higiene, alimentación y tiene un buen trato hacía él. De verdad estoy bien tranquila, solo que me gustaría hacer más. Puedo colaborar con los gastos, para mi eso es muy importante ya que muchos sabemos de la situación país, no arriesgarnos a que puede contaminarse, estamos haciendo lo humanamente posible para que este en un lugar pulcro. Estamos orando bastante, así que este cuidado es integral.

Hoy se tomó la decisión de restringir las visitas, así que no podré ir, pero sigo atenta de todo. Mi padre es un hombre con un sentido del humor muy alto, su ánimo también está muy bien, me encanta escuchar sus cuentos, es un hombre fuerte, se ejercita, pero ya sabemos que la vejez no viene sola. En espera que lo den de alta para compartir en su casa, poder abrazarlo y seguir haciendo de su vejez una etapa agradable.

Lamento muchísimo la situación de tu padre, vamos a ponerlos en manos de nuestro Dios Todopoderoso y que pase su mano sanadora en el. Me alegro que a pesar de tener otra familia te lleves muy bien con todos los estén cuidando bien y estés atenta y haciendo lo que humildemente puedas.

That is all one can expect is to do our best. I spent almost every day visiting my Mother in her last few weeks of her earthly presence. I'd take over her feeding. And did most of the talking about her grandsons and as many good memories I can remember. I cherished every lucid moment I had with her until the night I got the call from the Doctor.
