Illustrating Chaos Evoker in pixel art style / Splinterland Fan Art / (ENG/ESP)
Greetings, art-loving friends and artists, welcome to my post.
Today I'm sharing a fan art of one of the Splinterland cards. The card I used as a reference for this drawing is called Chaos Evoker. I found it very interesting to draw due to its appearance as a fire-elemental mage.
The card has a useful ability that causes the damage it deals to enemies to spread, making it very useful for some battles.
This drawing is in pixel art style, and I'll be showing you the creation process.

El día de hoy les comparto un Fan Art de una de las cartas de splinterland, el cual la carta que use en referencia para este dibujo se llama Chaos Evoker, una carta que me pareció muy interesante de dibujar debido a su apariencia como maga de elemento de fuego.
La carta tiene una habilidad útil donde hace que el daño que les causa a sus enemigos son expansivos, así que muy útil para algunos combates.
El estilo de este dibujo es en pixel art, donde les estaré mostrando como fue el proceso de creación de este dibujo.

First, I started by creating my character's silhouette. I wanted my character to be in a frontal position, where you could see the entire silhouette and the decorations on it.
After I've fully created my character's silhouette, all that's left is to clean it up. Many of the pixels are in places where they make the curved lines look disproportionate, so it's time to clean up all the pixelated lines.
The great thing about digital drawings is that you can create each silhouette on a separate layer, so I cleared all the layers and started cleaning up each of the drawing's structures separately.

Primero comencé realizando la silueta de mi personaje, quería que mi personaje tuviera una posición frontal, donde se pudiera apreciar toda la silueta de mi personaje y las decoraciones que tiene.
Después de haber realizado totalmente la silueta de mi personaje, solo queda limpiarlo, ya que muchos de los píxeles se encuentran en lugares donde hace que las líneas curvadas se vean desproporcionadas, así que llego el momento de limpiar todas líneas pixeladas.
Lo bueno de los dibujos digitales, es que puedes hacer cada una de las siluetas en una capa diferente, así que aclarecí todas las capas y comencé a limpiar cada una de las estructuras del dibujo por separado.

To remove all the out-of-proportion pixels, I used a brush very similar to the Magic Wand. I manually began marking all the out-of-proportion pixels that were too bulky and filled in my drawing with a red pixel. I repeated the same process throughout the entire silhouette of my drawing, where I had started working on the hair in this first cleanup step.
By completing this step, you can see how my drawing looks before and after completely cleaning it up. Now you can understand the drawing a little better and appreciate it better. The lines are a little more fluid, and the drawing has taken on a bit more style.

Para poder eliminar todos los píxeles que se encuentran desproporcionados, para ello use un pincel muy similar al de la vara mágica, donde de manera manual, comencé a marcar con un pixel de color rojo, todos los píxeles que se encuentran desproporcionados y que le hacen mucho relleno a mi dibujo, repitiendo el mismo proceso en toda la silueta de mi dibujo, donde en este primer paso de limpiado, había comenzado a trabajar con el cabello.
Al realizar este paso, podrán notar como se ve mi dibujo un antes y después de limpiarlo totalmente, ahora se puede entender un poco más el dibujo y se aprecia mejor, las líneas están un poco más fluidas y el dibujo ha tomado un poco más de estilo.

After fully creating my character's silhouette, it was time to add color. So, I first used flat colors like black, red, and dark red. The original character uses these colors. Although the original character's outfit, the reference image, was a bit more covered in my drawing, I wanted to make something a little more covered to keep the character fully warm and because an outfit like this would show off his silhouette.
With all the flat colors in place, I began working on each of the pieces. In this case, I had started working on my character's hood, using darker tones than the base to create depth and shading.

Después de realizar totalmente la silueta de mi personaje, llego el momento de darle color, así que primero use colores planos como el negro, rojo y bino tinto, ya que el personaje original tiene estos colores, pero aunque el traje que posee el personaje original, es decir, la imagen de referencia, en mi dibujo quería hacer algo un poco más tapado para hacer que el personaje estuviera totalmente abrigado y porque un traje como esta aria lucir su silueta.
Al tener todos los colores planos colocados en su respectivo lugar, comencé a trabajar al 100% cada una de las piezas, en este caso, había comenzado a trabajar con la capucha de mi personaje, usando tonos más oscuros al de la base para poder crear profundidad y sombreado.

Once I finished working on the hood, I started working on the highlights for the hair and adding more emphasis to the eyes, as in the reference image. The eyes are completely red, so I made a small adjustment to that area to make her look like an evil sorceress.
After finishing the face, to which I had added some highlights, I started working on the costume under the hood, using slightly lighter and darker tones to show off her silhouette and using highlights to highlight certain areas of her body.

Al terminar de trabajar con la capucha, comencé a trabajar en las iluminaciones del cabello y a darle más valor a los ojos, como en la imagen de referencia, los cuales los ojos son totalmente de color rojo, así que hice un pequeño ajuste en esa parte para hacer que luzca como una hechicera maligna.
Después de terminar con el rostro, el cual le había agregado algunas iluminaciones, comencé a trabajar con el traje que está debajo de la capucha, usando tonos un poco más claros y oscuros para hacer lucir su silueta, usando iluminaciones para hacer destacar unas áreas de su cuerpo.
Finally, I had finished fully enhancing my drawing, but I was only missing one very important piece: the headband. So I began to painstakingly create it so that it would look great with the hood and face. I was very pleased with the final results.

Finalmente, había terminado de valorizar completamente mi dibujo, pero tan solo me faltaba una pieza muy importante, la diadema, así que comencé a realizarlo de manera minuciosa para que luciera con la capucha y su rostro, el cual quede muy satisfecho con los resultados finales.
