A big hello to everyone! I wish you a wonderful week and hope all your projects and challenges come to fruition. I'd like to thank @irenenavarroart for her suggestions, which I found very interesting. I'm joining the weekly initiative and answering the second question:
A mystical and powerful being offers you the opportunity to reincarnate, but you must choose between two options: the first is to keep the memories of your past life, but without meeting the same people again. The second option is to forget everything, but find the same people around you reincarnated as you. Which would you choose and why?
I must start by saying that I am a person who greatly enjoys or harvests memories from different moments in my life (thank God, I have a very good memory). These memories connect me with the people who have passed through my life. In fact, thanks to technology, I have WhatsApp groups with classmates from different student centers and from my former job. I remember them all fondly, and we often get together to chat and share our daily lives. All of this has been possible because we started from beautiful memories we shared. ¡Un gran saludo a todos! Les deseo una semana maravillosa y espero que todos sus proyectos y retos se hagan realidad. Agradezco a @irenenavarroart sus sugerencias, que me parecieron muy interesantes. Me uno a la iniciativa semanal y respondo a la segunda pregunta:
Un ser místico y poderoso te ofrece la oportunidad de reencarnar, pero debes elegir entre dos opciones: la primera es conservar los recuerdos de tu vida pasada, pero sin volver a encontrarte con las mismas personas. La segunda opción es olvidarlo todo, pero encontrar a las mismas personas a tu alrededor reencarnadas en ti. ¿Cuál elegirías y por qué?
Debo empezar diciendo que soy una persona que disfruta mucho o recoge recuerdos de diferentes momentos de mi vida (gracias a Dios, tengo muy buena memoria). Estos recuerdos me conectan con las personas que han pasado por mi vida. De hecho, gracias a la tecnología, tengo grupos de WhatsApp con compañeras de diferentes centros de estudiantes y de mi antiguo trabajo. Las recuerdo a todas con cariño, y a menudo nos reunimos para charlar y compartir nuestra vida diaria. Todo esto ha sido posible gracias a los hermosos recuerdos que compartimos. Por eso le doy tanta importancia a la memoria.
Now, if I had the chance to be reincarnated with all those beautiful memories but without the people who gave them life... I think it would be a little sad. I like to relive my experiences with those I empathize with and those who were part of my story. In fact, it already happens to me today: I often remember, but I can't physically share them with those people, and that makes me deeply nostalgic.
Therefore, I infinitely prefer to be reincarnated surrounded by the same people, even if I don't remember anything. I'm sure we would create wonderful stories again, because throughout my life I've been surrounded by people with whom I've formed special bonds. Of course, as in every life, I've also had less-than-intimate relationships, but even so, I believe a second chance could bring out better versions of us.
Ahora bien, si tuviera la oportunidad de reencarnar con todos esos hermosos recuerdos, pero sin las personas que les dieron vida... creo que sería un poco triste. Me gusta revivir mis experiencias con quienes empatizo y quienes formaron parte de mi historia. De hecho, ya me pasa hoy: a menudo los recuerdo, pero no puedo compartirlos físicamente con esas personas, y eso me llena de nostalgia.
Por eso, prefiero infinitamente reencarnar rodeada de las mismas personas, aunque no recuerde nada. Estoy segura de que volveríamos a crear historias maravillosas, porque a lo largo de mi vida he estado rodeada de personas con las que he forjado vínculos especiales. Claro que, como en toda vida, también he tenido relaciones poco íntimas, pero aun así, creo que una segunda oportunidad podría sacar a la luz mejores versiones de nosotros mismos.
I feel so blessed for all the people I've spent time with to date. I've built a wonderful family, friends who are like brothers and sisters, and invaluable coworkers. So, if there's a repeat performance, I want them all with me! 😄✨
