Nomos Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest Fanart

Hello! How are you? I received some good news today, and I think that's the sign I've been waiting for. I was manifesting it so hard yesterday. Now I am in a good mood, hehe.

By the way for my entry for this week's Splinterlands art contest is Nomos. He has been on my draft for a couple of weeks now, and I decided to redraw him and finish it as soon as possible.

The reason why I chose him is that I like his hair, especially the color, and it reminds me of my hair color before, LOL. Never coming back in that hair again, did it just for the experience.

The Process:

I did not like the line art in my first version, so I decided to redraw it, and I made the right decision. I like the line art now, for the brush, I used marker detail for the line art.

In this part, I am going to add the base color to each part. I used the shape fill tool brush to add the base color, and I adjusted the stabilization of the brush to make the base color clean.

For this part, I still use the shape fill tool brush to add the shadows and highlights. Then I added a texture to the canvas.

And after that, I blur all the shadows and highlight using the blur filter, Gaussian Blur just 5%. And then I lower the opacity of the line art because I am not dependent on it.

For this part, I added dark red as my background color, and then I completely lowered the opacity of the line art, and then started to add a layer of render again.

For the final process, I added flames as a background design, and then I added more details on the hair as well, and then I finalized it with highlights.
