Muy buenas noches, mis queridas amigas de @ladiesofhive. Aquí estoy de nuevo ante ustedes con mi entrada para su Ladies of Hive Community Contest #261. Esta vez la querida amiga @ifarmgirl nos invita a reflexionar sobre decisiones importantes de nuestra vida.

Well, the initiative consists of answering one or all of the questions posed to participate. In this case, the questions are:
You were offered a job by an overseas firm in a country you've always wanted to visit. However, you cannot take your immediate family (spouse and kids) with you until two years later. Would you grab the opportunity? Share your thoughts, please.
Do you have a negative thought about yourself? What is it, and are you doing something to reframe that and adopt a more positive outlook?
Gratitude or gratefulness helps boost our overall well-being. Do you practice a "grateful living" approach? If you do, what are you most thankful for today?
Bien, la iniciativa consiste en responder una o todas las preguntas que se nos plantean para participar. En este caso las preguntas son:
Una empresa extranjera te ofreció un trabajo en un país que siempre has querido visitar. Sin embargo, no puedes llevar a tu familia inmediata (cónyuge e hijos) contigo hasta dos años después. ¿Aprovecharías la oportunidad? Comparte tu opinión, por favor.
¿Tienes algún pensamiento negativo sobre ti mismo? ¿Cuál es? ¿Estás haciendo algo para replantearlo y adoptar una perspectiva más positiva?
La gratitud ayuda a mejorar nuestro bienestar general. ¿Practicas una vida agradecida? Si es así, ¿de qué estás más agradecido hoy?
To answer the first question, my answer is, without hesitation, a resounding no. This is because I have two young daughters in elementary and high school; both are just starting here and need stability.
If the job offered to me allowed me to take them both, I would definitely consider it, but it would be a family decision. We are a team, always united, and decisions this important are taken very seriously and as a family, not individually.
Para responder la primera pregunta, mi respuesta es sin pensarlo tanto un No rotundo. Esto porque tengo a mis dos niñas pequeñas en primaria y bachillerato, ambas apenas están haciendo sus vidas aquí y necesitan estabilidad.
Si el trabajo que me ofrecen me permitiera llevármelas a ambas, allí sí lo consideraría, pero sería una decisión familiar. Nosotros somos un equipo, siempre unidos y decisiones así de importantes son tomadas muy en serio y de forma familiar, no individual.
To answer your second question, it's not that I have a negative thought about myself. Sometimes it can be a flaw, and other times it can be a quality. It all depends on the person I'm interacting with.
I'm very direct. I don't hold anything back, and I speak my mind sincerely, whether it's a good time or a bad time. The people I interact with don't like this very much, but they know that when something good happens, I'm just as honest, so they already know me and are accustomed to my personality.
Para responder a la segunda pregunta, no es que tenga un pensamiento negativo sobre, algunas veces puede ser un defecto y otras veces puede ser una cualidad, todo depende de la persona con la que interactúe.
Yo soy muy directa, no me guardo nada y digo lo que pienso con sinceridad, sea en un buen momento o en un mal momento. Esto a las personas con las que me relaciono no les gusta mucho, pero saben que cuando ocurre algo bueno soy así de honesta también así que ya me conocen y toleran mi forma de ser.
And finally, answering the third question: of course! I practice it every day. As soon as I open my eyes and before going to bed, I thank God for giving me another chance at life, for my children, for their future, for continuing to improve my body with everything I've been doing, so I can spend more time with them.
Everything I do, I do for them. They are my guiding light, my motivation to wake up with courage every day because I know they need me, and I need them. For this and more, I thank God all day, every day, and the blessings multiply in everything I do. It's amazing.
Y finalmente, respondiendo a la tercera pregunta: por supuesto! La practico a diario, apenas abro los ojos y antes de acostarme doy gracias a Dios por darme otra oportunidad de vivir, por mis hijos, por su futuro, por seguir mejorando mi cuerpo con todo lo que vengo haciendo para poder pasar más tiempo con mis niños.
Todo lo que hago lo hago por ellos, ellos son mi norte, mi impulso a levantarme con ánimos cada día porque sé que me necesitan y yo a ellos. Por esto y más doy gracias a Dios todo el día, todos los días y las bendiciones se me multiplican en todo lo que hago, es impresionante.

Colocando en alto el gran valor de la familia y el compromiso diario que conlleva.
Ser sincero es sinónimo de gente que vale la pena luchar, para compartir infinidades de momentos que marcan historia.
