Warm greetings to the entire community. How have you been? It's been a while since I shared my time with you, but what better way to do so than by participating in this fabulous initiative inviting our dear @jane1289 to reflect on what we're passionate about and what motivates us in community initiative #252.
Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad. ¿Como han estado? Tiempo sin compartir con ustedes pero qué mejor forma de hacerlo que participando de esta fabulosa iniciativa que nos invita nuestra querida @jane1289 a reflexionar sobre lo que nos apasiona y nos motiva en la iniciativa #252 de la comunidad.

Iniciativa - Initiative
Well, the initiative consists of answering one or both of the questions posed to participate. In this case, the questions are:
- If you had the opportunity, what type of business would you like to start and why?
- Are you more motivated by passion, profit, or independence?
Bien, la iniciativa consiste en responder una o las 2 preguntas que se nos plantea para participar. En este caso las preguntas son:
- Si tuvieras la oportunidad, ¿qué tipo de negocio te gustaría emprender y por qué?
- ¿Te ves más motivado por la pasión, el lucro o la independencia?
I chose to answer both questions because I think it provides a better explanation for participating. Now, if I could choose my venture or business idea, I would like it to be baking.
I love baking cakes, cookies, and sweets. My mom instilled this in me from a very young age, and I admired her for it. Trying new recipes and seeing the faces of the people I cook for when they enjoy what I make (because I also make delicious food) is what fills my heart with joy.
Yo elegí responder las dos preguntas ya que me parece que se obtiene una mejor explicasión para participar. Ahora, si pudiera elegir mi emprendimiento o una idea de negocio, me gustaría que fuese la repostería.
A mi me encanta hacer tortas, galletas y dulces. Esto me lo inculcó mi mamá desde muy pequeña y me hizo admirarla por ello. Probar nuevas recetas y ver la cara que hacen las personas a las cuales les cocino cuando disfrutan lo que hago (porque cocino rico también), es lo que me llena el corazón de alegría.
But baking desserts is what I love most. Whether it's to share with the family as a snack or to celebrate a special occasion, I like to contribute a sweet treat made by my own hands because I know whoever tries it will be more than satisfied with my work.
Pero cocinar postres es lo que más me gusta. Ya sea para compartir en familia como merienda o para celebrar alguna fecha especial, me gusta contribuir con algún dulce hecho por mis propias manos porque sé que quien lo pruebe quedará más que satisfecho con mi trabajo.
As for what would motivate me, I would have to answer passion, and also my children. I would set an example for them that anyone who sets a dream can achieve it with effort, determination, dedication, and, above all, a lot of love.
Love drives passion, passion drives the heart, and when you truly do what you love, it doesn't feel like work. The rest, both financial independence and financial reward, comes along with it if you remain firm in what you truly desire.
And what drives me is what my heart desires. And although I haven't taken any courses to work professionally as a pastry chef yet, for now it's just a hobby I share with those I love most: my family, and they love what I do.
En cuanto a qué me motivaría, tendría que responder la Pasión y también mis hijos. Darles el ejemplo de que quien se propone un sueño puede cumplirlo con esfuerzo, empeño, dedicación y sobre todo mucho amor.
El amor impulsa la pasión, la pasión impulsa la corazón y cuando realmente haces lo que te gusta, no se siente como un trabajo. Lo demás, tanto la independencia financiera como la remuneración económica, viene agregada y a la par si te mantienes firme en lo que deseas realmente.
Y a mi lo que me mueve es lo que quiere mi corazón. Y aunque por los momentos no he hecho cursos para trabajar profesionalmente como repostera, por ahora sólo es un hobbie que comparto con los que más amo, mi familia y a ellos les encata lo que hago.

Ser repostera es un arduo trabajo que requiere de mucho ensayo y error. Yo conozco varias reposteras y las admiro por la labor que ejercen. Sin embargo concuerdo contigo, mientras halla pasión por lo que haces, no se considera un trabajo. Saludos!
