(ENG-ESP) RECIPE: Delicious tuna stew with mixed vegetables

- Good evening, friends, welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm sharing the delicious recipe I prepared for lunch with my family. This dish is VERY versatile and can be paired with a multitude of sides. In my case, I added baked bananas and lettuce salad with a honey-mustard dressing. Let's put on our aprons to make an "appetizing tuna stew with mixed vegetables". I hope you enjoy the process of making this delicacy!
- Buenas noches amigos, bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog! Hoy, les explico la deliciosa receta que preparé para almorzar en compañía de mi familia, este platillo es MUY versátil, pueden acompañar con infinidad de contornos, en mi caso complementé con: plátanos horneados y ensalada de lechuga con aderezo de mostaza y miel... Pongámonos el delantal para realizar un "apetitoso guiso de atún con vegetales mixtos", espero disfruten el proceso de esta exquisitez!

- INGREDIENTS: zucchini, red bell pepper, onion, potatoes, ripe tomatoes, tuna (canned), pepper, dried oregano, celery powder, olive oil and salt.
- INGREDIENTES: calabacín, pimiento rojo, cebolla, patatas, tomates maduros, atún (enlatado), pimienta, orégano seco, célery en polvo, aceite de oliva y sal.




- We dice the potatoes, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the cooking water, and when it comes to a boil, add our potatoes and cook until tender. Set aside for use in the final step.
- Cortamos las patatas en cubos, agregamos 1/2 cucharadita de sal al agua de cocción, cuando rompa el hervor agregamos nuestras patatas, cocinamos hasta que se ablanden. Reservamos para utilizar en el paso final.

- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan, sauté the onion with the zucchini, and sauté until the zucchini skin turns slightly golden.
- Agregamos 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva al sartén, sofreímos la cebolla junto con el calabacín, salteamos hasta que la piel del calabacín se dore un poco.


- In this step, we add our colorful bell pepper...
- En este paso, añadimos nuestro colorido pimiento...

- Add the "tuna" and sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the reserved potatoes. Season with: pepper, dried oregano, ground celery and salt.
- Incorporamos el "atún", salteamos a fuego "medio" durante 5 minutos. Colocamos las "patatas" que teníamos reservadas, en este paso procedemos a condimentar con: pimienta, orégano seco, célery en polvo y sal.




- Next, add the tomatoes, cut them into julienne strips (remove the seeds), and cook over low heat for 2 minutes. I particularly love the "crunchy" texture... Our dish is ready to enjoy!
- A continuación, integramos los tomates, cortamos en julianas (extraemos las semillas). Cocinamos a fuego "bajo" durante 2 minutos, particularmente me encanta disfrutar su textura "crujiente"... Nuestro platillo está listo para disfrutar!

I've never prepared tuna with those vegetables, I love it raw with onion, tomato and avocado, it makes a delicious salad.
