Aseanhive Community Weekly Challenge #173 Asean Expression : "Push Mo Yan Te" (Go For It)

This is an epic challenge! My entry is a famous tagline in my country whenever you are going to start, in the middle of it or you failed or it's a success. We Filipinos encouraged ourselves and others to go through things that hinders our goals by lively saying "Push mo yan te! " or in English it says "Go for it" I am going to elaborate how this expression is being used in my experiences.

‎First when I was studying, back at high school and college sland words used by the millenials are raging everywhere. Our boring expression is "kaya mo yan" in English means "You can do it" was replaced by a millennial term "Push mo yan te". More merrier and funny that it almost means you are supporting your friend with humor that it can be used both sad and happy events depends on the energy on how you said it. Everytime I do workshops and I feel exhausted I always heard my friends says "push mo yan te" and instead of getting tired I'm going to wear a wide smile and little motivated. When I went to contests, my classmates gave me this expression as a good luck!

Second, when I started my own small online business when I was 18. I opened a ready to wear online shop and I'm not sure if it's clicking the environment but my best friend always says "go for it" and try. Because of her kind words I was able to succeed my first month sales and so on.

Third, when I had my family. Getting pregnant at 19 is quite not a perfect timing and I'm still a student but people around me motivated me to "go for it" take care for it and do not think of negative actions to harm and add more problems. It's the time I heard my husband saying "go for it" when I bought clothes for maternal care, for the baby and home groceries. I know we had rough times but keeping motivated by this expression is a stronghold.
‎Lastly, for todays generation it really helps you because it will give a very positive ambiance when telling people push mo yan te because it's like giving a humorous advice but sentimental.
‎So I'm telling everyone here! Push mo yan te!
