Trills of sunset ~ Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh Round 406

I love birds, and I enjoy their visits during the day when they come to eat the seeds and fruits I leave on the windowsill.

One quiet afternoon, as the sun was setting, the atmosphere was very peaceful. A warm light illuminated the last visitor of the day, whose shadow rested on the curtain.

As I enjoyed those last rays of sunlight and the gentle breeze, the little bird sang a short, quiet song, filling me with a lovely feeling of peace.
