VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION SONG REVIEW

Vibes Web3 week 34 started some days back, and I’ve watched a good number of entries that I must admit were pretty fair and some were even good. I have gone through about 12 or 13 entries so far before making this post, and out of all the ones I have gone through one stand out performance I have seen is that of @moses08 It’s the second time I’m watching him sing though, but I will admit that this one is way better than the last one I watched. I’m not generally a fan of melismatic singing, and I see it’s something he does very often, but then again I would give it to him as his style of music has been totally different from the norms I have been hearing from other artists.

@moses08 started really well, although he talks fast, maybe something he will need to work on. But the way he attacked the song brought out the energy of old school R&B. The only thing I will say was a bit off was the melisma in some of the parts. It kinda dragged the energy that he was building beautifully from the beginning. But overall, it was a beautiful presentation with great energy. If I’m to be honest I kinda admire his voice, because it’s very versatile. And even his body language to the music was just so onpoint.

Overall I will give him an 8/10. I know I can’t sing that genre of music and when I see people who are very good with it I give them applause. If my words mattered at all, I would nominate him for top 15 because that performance is contest worthy. I really hope to see him among the top 15, and although there are a lot of artists I haven’t listened to, I think @moses08's presentation would stand a chance to compete with other great artists. Well this is just my honest review, and I wish @moses08 all the meat in the competition.
