TRYING TO START #271

It’s a new year and I am trying to start afresh, and to be honest it is not easy. My goal for the year is to be better in everything I do. This means I have to do everything to become better. I know it is not going to be easy, in fact, it is not easy because I have started, however I just pray I finish strong because I am trying to go through and enjoy the process. This process is not easy, but I know if I can go through it and be consistent I will be in a better place by the end of the year. I believe in the law of harvest, as long as I do the work, I will reap the benefits.

I decided I was going to start with the little things, things like reading, exercising, eating well, scheduling my time, making time for family, checking on friends and just making impacts anywhere I am. With that in mind, I decided to start with reading. I wanted to do my usual audio book but I decided to try to physically pick a book and read. It is not easy though, in fact it took me two days to finish 1 chapter because I can not read for a very long period without having a headache, sometimes I just stop understanding and everywhere begins to feel strange.

This however only means that I will have to go slowly, but certainly I will achieve the result. The idea is to know more than I knew yesterday, and for every time I read I try to make sure I do just that. Knowing more than I knew yesterday will help me stand a better chance of doing more than I did yesterday because I now know a little more. So if anything, I feel this is progress, and I am simply enjoying the process.
