THE SPORT THAT TURNS ME OFF π©

In my opinion, a game is more than just winning or losing. For every formation and strategy a team uses, I see a life lesson, I see games as a test of two strategies to test the strength of each. Sometimes the strategy that helps a team win today might be a reason for their loss tomorrow. And sometimes it isn't about strategy or formation, but about mind set, the right atmosphere and individual state of mind of players. And sometimes too everything might be at the perfect pace, but a team might still end up losing. These are the analyses and stats I like to take note of while watching a game, and that is why the sport I don't see any reason for is the game of badminton.
Although there are people who love the game, I don't see any reason or use for it. I see the game as a copycat of long tennis with the shuttlecock as the only difference in the game. Probably because I don't know how the game is played as I don't even wish to know, being content with the game of Long tennis. Maybe another reason I don't like the game is because I'm also a lover of long tennis, I prefer it to table tennis which I feel is quite small LOL. The first time I held a shuttlecock was when my mum bought it for me as a birthday present. She couldn't find a tennis ball so she thought they were both the same. I was in JSS 3 then during the holidays when my friends came over to our house and I wanted to test my new toy only for my friend and I to be frustrated with how the shuttlecock moved when hit with the ratchet.

It was then we knew the difference between long tennis and badminton and that was when I developed hatred for the sport. I couldn't do anything with the shuttlecock so I allowed my baby brother to play with it until he spoiled it. When I came across the sport in PHE, I remember wanting to understand how it is played only to discover it was a sport my PHE teacher tagged "anyhow" and so it stuck in my head to date that the game of badminton is anyhow.
Your teacher actually contributed to your disliking the gameπ.
Yes ooo... He did. And till now, I can't seem to like it
I think I've had an experience with the shuttlecock once, I just wondered who developed it πππ
A very funny thing... The same thing I wondered, until I realized sailors invented it in a ship

I like how you connect sports to reality and that shows how much you understand your choice of sport. If we look at it critically, I really don't understand the purpose of badminton as well.
I get bored when seeing either badminton or cricket, I am sure those who understand the game have a deeper understanding that makes them attached so I wouldn't condemn any sport.
Cricket is another thing I don't understand either. Very funny game
If I see that teacher I fit .....
Make I no talk
π I'm guessing you like the game of badminton
