PEACE AND QUIET

I am someone who loves a peaceful environment, I also like to mind my business a lot, but is very accommodating to people. I do not like the idea of hustling and jumping for transportation because everything is moving so fast. But then again, I am not at all a fan of mediocracy which is something very common in the rural area. I do not like to be Mr know it all, I do not like to be the only one who has ideas about things, I love a place where I can also learn and benefit from a lot of people. I love it when I can make things work but also learn from others who can do better. I do not want to feel there is anything special about me that would make me stand above everyone, at least not as a village champion. If I am going to be any champion at all, it should be a world champion lol. So yeah in as much as I so much love the urban lifestyle, there are things about the rural environs that I am just not comfortable with.

Starting with a stable internet, I might not even care about good roads, but when it comes to the matter of light and internet, it is usually very poor in the rural areas and sometimes they even go years without electricity. This is something I can not begin to live without, I can not imagine myself climbing a tree just to get network or having to deal with the headache of electricity. These for me are things that are of utmost necessity for me and not having them is usually unimaginable. If it was possible to create a world for myself, it will be one with the peace of the rural area, the mind your business attitude of the urban area, the fresh air and serenity of the rural area, the light, water and internet of the urban area, and the good food of the rural area.

But then again, I can’t have it all, so I got to deal with things the way they are. I would just have to give myself peace and look for good food in the urban area. Not as though there are no good foods in the urban areas, but I can not trust them to be as fresh as they are in the rural areas. I guess it is easier for me to adapt to living in the urban area as I have lived in it all my life than life in the rural areas. In fact I have only had to stay in the rural area twice in my life and I must admit I did not really feel at home as I do in the urban area. Although the urban areas here still suffer from electricity and network issues, it doesn’t come close to what people suffer in the rural area. The light is mostly regulated in most parts of the rural areas while the urban area is left to take whatever is left as development there is usually slow.

Lol, not wanting to be a village champion cracked me up 🤣

Yes, same as me too
Being in a rural area would just kill your work flow because the Internet would be terrible
