FINDING THE BALANCE #264

I had always struggled to find the balance between my work, relationships and other aspects of my personal life. I guess It is safe to say that I got tired of roaming in cycles and felt it was high time I became stable in a good way. I started by defining the things that were important to me in an order of importance and it made me realize I had been carrying loads that were unnecessary and it was affecting my time. My partner too decided to do the same and we both saw that there were a lot of unnecessary things that we needed to put behind us and so we started a plan.

But even after making the plan I knew it might just be a matter of time before we abandoned the plan so I suggested that we seek counseling and get someone who will professionally help us out. We hope to work on our finances and it goes beyond just making more money but also making good use of the little we make to help us gradually achieve our goals.
It’s a big decision because this in turn will determine how fast we will be able to plan for our wedding and officially start a family together.

Our plan has a set of routine that will be very productive in the long run if we can stay disciplined enough to be consistent with it. I do not know how far we will be able to go because we just started, but I hope we can achieve our desired goal from this in the long run. It’s already looking like a long and difficult journey, but I know that we have a chance if we stick to the plan. I hope we don’t get discouraged along the way especially when our accountability person becomes harsh with us lol. Well time will tell.
