Throwback Before the Quake: That Math Club Event That Never Happened
Hello, my dearest hive friends. I hope everyone's doing well, and to my fellow Cebuanos who also experienced the earthquake, I hope you are all safe. This happened way before the earthquake happened in my beloved Cebu Province. This happened during my mini blog hiatus.
This is ....

🍀 Before the Quake: That Math Club Event That Never Happened 🍀
Before the quake happened, Math Month had already started, from the opening on September 15 up to the schedule culmination on October 2. Unfortunately, the earthquake struck just few days before our main event. We had already hosted several mini activities, and this blog is all about the mini events we were able to enjoy before everything was interrupted by the quake.
BEFORE THE OPENING

Before the opening, our club advisor as that we needed to decorate the stage show it would look beautiful for the event. She had already printed everything we needed so are only test is to cut the mass symbols. I was honestly amazed with the string art we placed below the stage. Our adviser shared that your former students from her previous school made those pieces, and she kept them as decorations.
DURING THE EVENT

The math club chairperson and vice chairperson hosted the opening and you will come the students with a very good introduction. We present to the mask club members and all the math teachers during the event. We even dance noodles with math symbol inspired dance steps. i was so shy while performing because my classmates where watching. I almost backed out. We also prepared a Tower of Hanoi activity, and thankfully, a lot of students participated.
MATH CHALLENGE

During the mass challenge, send to watch over the students will they answered. It is actually soft and even though we just observing them. Watching them reminded me of my elementary self. I honestly wanted to join the activity, but i have a job to do which is to make sure that the students weren't cheating and checking their test papers.

While Checking, I events so some students answer the question “ Who made the Cartesian Plane? ” with “John Carlo” and “Mc Arthur.” Maybe their teachers haven't discuss the lessons with them yet.
If only the earthquake didn't happened. We would have hosted a beautiful closing ceremony which is the main event.
This earthquake certainly left some dark memories among the people of your country, and yet I find optimism in your #TBT today. I'm very happy about that. Better times will come for everyone involved in this type of activity. Thank you very much for participating in #TBT Thursdays. Here you can tell us about and reflect on experiences from your past, trips, weddings, graduations, concerts, anything that has had a strong influence on your life. We look forward to hearing from you whenever you have a story to share ✌️
