Golda, like Golda Meir
What can I say about Golda... she swept me off my feet, she moved me, I loved her at first sight, she's sweet as honey, the color of her eyes.
She came to me at a time when I needed something sweet by my side, because I was going through a bitter situation in my life in a toxic relationship!
Golda, my beautiful Persian cat...
She came into my life "during the biggest mistake of my life"
that I didn't know how to end, but that it was going to end. When I make a decision, it's hard to go back on it. I always follow through... and Golda was in that same position on my shoes.
Golda didn't speak, but she communicated with me in many ways. She would roll her eyes, as if to say, "I understand..."
She would lean at my feet as if to say, "I'm here... and everything will be okay."
And so it was.
She accompanied me in those dark hours, in my sad afternoons, in my awakenings filled with fear and terror.
They say animals don't understand human emotions,
but they do know how to love better than humans.
They know when to approach, when to stay, when to touch, when to purr. Of course, there is communication, nonverbal, but telepathic, kinetic...
Golda now lives with one of my sons, who also loves animals. I had to leave her because I separated/divorce and came to live with my son in Salinas, a small coastal city in Ecuador...
Golda is my personal photo
