Spirituality and faith in God is the foundation essential to develop those best qualities we want to see in our children. Qualities we parents must also demonstrate and model to our children. Two verses I applied to myself and my two boys;
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones. ~ Proverbs 3: 5-8
"Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. ~ Proverbs 22:6
