That's such a terrible experience.
We rely so much on our phones as literally our lifeline to the world and is tied to our livelihoods too. I told my friends I may be planning on traveling to certain countries in the next 6-7 years. I was given advice to carry an old unused phone as decoy and my active one in my pocket rather than purse. I just got a new Galaxy S24 because my previous 2018 A8 is not 5G compatible any more.
