I find the media in my country of Canada is too often in lockstep with USA media. I rarely believe anything they report. Having moderated here in Ladies of Hive I have been enamored by the many posts featuring many beautiful photos from my Hive sisters that live so far away. Photos of warm inviting beaches, lush diverse forests, majestic geography, with a rich history and culture, prompts me to travel and discover the real warmth of it's people. I admire the women of Venezuela, their resilience and resourcefulness in tough times, something we in the first world countries need to learn.

Hello friend, honestly the media doesn't always give the best news or reflect how things really are. Only those of us here know what’s truly happening. However, it’s worth mentioning that our economy is becoming more burdensome each day. Among the good things, there are also some that aren’t so appropriate, but we always look for ways to move forward. Venezuela has a natural charm that everyone loves. Here, you can find a lot of diversity, and we also have very iconic places that deserve to be visited. Truly, three days are not enough because there’s so much to see and explore. I hope that someday God allows me to meet many of you who live far away, and that our Venezuela returns to its former self, in prosperity and peace, so I can welcome everyone with the same enthusiasm as always.
