In reality we seldom find the ideal house since there are many variables and compromises when making the final decision. When I bought my home, it was after many, many different homes I've looked at. I was very picky with my criteria, but the result was a home very similar to the one I grew up in. My hands were shaking as I signed the $195,000 mortgage.
