Technology is great! We get to meet people we never would have met any other way. I met you here! :) I am not a big traveler so I don't think I would ever have met you IRL since I don't plan to vacation in your country. But online, people can meet, and that's awesome!
Also like you said, we can learn about almost anything very easily now. Between YouTube videos (which I watch all the time and talk about on my blog here) and now ChatGPT and Gemini and Copilot and all the other AI chatbots out there, we can converse with AI and get lots of info on many subjects. AI really makes my programming jobs easier (like my @pepegame game and @tokenfaucet giveaway) as I use it for quick and accurate answers which it explains step by step to me.
