During her kindergarten school’s United Nations celebration, my daughter Aya stood out as Ms. Egypt. With her confidence and beautiful costume.

I'm so proud to share that she was awarded Best in Costume and named 3rd Runner-Up Princess. Even though she didn’t win as Queen of the United Nations, she's always my queen in my heart forever.

It's even more special to me that her outfit was made with love. I created Aya’s costume Ms. Egypt from scratch. I bought a gold fabric, a simple one and then added colorful laces and sewed it all. And also her slippers. I paint it the same with her outfit. Because it's different to find gold-colored footwear. I decorated them with golden laces on it too. The glamorous accessories from headpiece and arm cuffs I bought from an online shop.

I'm so proud of her when I saw Aya walk on stage with a big smile and introduce herself to everyone. My heart filled with pride and joy. . As parents, we need to give time and effort for our kids' activities. And showing up to support them means the most.
