The Good and Bad Sides of Hive

Hello friends. I must say that one of the best things that happened to me in 2024 is learning about Hive. Hive is so unique and different from all the interface I've known so far. That was my first attraction, and the fact that I don't need to meet up with a huge criterion to become recognized is the iceberg.

On Hive, everyone has an equal opportunity to learn and grow. Being a newbie, I was surprised as to how fast I grew within a space of 12 month's. I don't think such opportunity is available in other platforms. Hive is more like an higher institution of financial knowledge and general knowledge about life from different facets of the world. I learnt to see things from different perspectives here. I got exposed to different world and cultures, communicating and making good friends that made my stay here more fun and smooth.

On Hive, I made my first crypto earnings that helped me sort my bills. Most importantly, I achieved something even bigger..... A Business that I had planned to start two years ago.

Now you understand why I said Hive is incredible. The thing about Hive is that efforts matters a lot. You see people complain about not getting recognition or votes on their post. I learned to look beyond that and focused on my consistency instead and engagements which fueled my growth.

Everything in life has two sides.......
That being said, the only bad side of Hive that ive noticed is downvotes. Downvote itself isn't a bad things since it's implemented to keep thing's in check as a form of correction or should I say penalty?

I think downvotes should be done in a more organized way. Not any random person just downvoting another because he or she doesn't agree with the other person.

I've seen and read a lot of downvotes fight on Hive and to see, it looks childish. There should be dialog, rules, guidelines and room for questioning before downvotes.

Well..... the good still outweighs the bad side of #Hive for me. Yes, I'm not as active as I used to be because of time factor but I still try my best to engage and microblog as much as possible.

Hive is a beautiful thing that happened to me and I'm not letting go of it anytime soon even if the value drops to zero

The friends, community, exposure and knowledge is far valuable than money!
