My Midnight App Addiction"

Hello midnight owls.. Sorry guys, i was meant to post this at night, but i slept off 😪How are you doing tonight? Trust your day went well.. Mine was well spent. So this week's prompt topic, I will be sharing with you about the app I love to visit every midnight. Keep reading guys;

For me, Midnight is a time when those apps understand us best. I have a lot of apps I visit during the midnight. But the three main apps includes; WhatsApp, YouTube and tiktok. Here's the real tea. Visting WhatsApp
at midnight makes conversations to get softer and deeper. During this moment, there's no rush, no noise. It's just long chats, voice notes, gists, insightful time, and “are you still awake?” texts. It feels personal, almost intimate.

As for YouTube, watching it at midnight is a comfort therapy. One video turns into five, thereby making me to stay glued to it, with it's music, vlogs, documentaries, random advice i didn’t know i needed. It keeps my mind busy when sleep is playing hard to get. Then for tiktok, I must say that it's a pure temptation. Short videos, endless scrolling, instant laughs, relatable stories, gets my brain, gets quick dopamine hits, so time disappears without warning. To be honest, sometimes at midnight, when sleep is playing hard to get on me, I will just spend my midnight hours on tiktok. And before I could realize what's happening, my data bundle has been exhausted.😂 Most Nigerians here, especially the Igbo can relate to this.

So basically, at midnight we’re tired, emotional, curious, and alone with our thoughts. These apps distract us, comfort us, and make us feel connected when the world is quiet 🌙 Thank you all for reading.
