The facades of old houses, particularly their windows and doors, often have a special appeal. This is true of the historic and traditional center of my city—Cumaná, Venezuela—which I often photograph. In the photo I am sharing in this post, I really like the interplay between the white of the facade and the white of the cloud against the blue background, the lines that coincide between the cables and the edge of the sidewalk, as well as the foreshortened perspective.

Las fachadas de las casas antiguas, particularmente sus ventanas y puertas, suelen tener un atractivo particular. Así ocurre en el centro histórico y tradicional de mi ciudad –Cumaná, Venezuela–, y que suelo fotografiar. En la foto que les entrego en este post me gusta mucho el juego con el blanco de la fachada y el de la nube en el fondo azul, las líneas coincidentes entre cables y filo de la acera, así como la perspectiva tipo escorzo.
