Spring season | LOH #256 contest week
Greetings ladies, I know I'm late to this contest, but you also know I'm not doing it to participate and win a prize. I just like coming here. I like reading what you propose so we can even reflect on the questions. I find it interesting. I try not to miss it every week. Here it goes:
If you live in the Northern Hemisphere, what is the one thing you are looking forward to in the fall season? If you live in the Southern Hemisphere, then what is the one thing you are looking forward to in the spring season? If you live in the middle, then what is the one thing you are looking forward to this season?
I currently live in the southern hemisphere. I live in Peru. Although the unique thing about this country is that, being almost on the border, this part crosses the equator, which puts it in the northern hemisphere. Interesting, right? But anyway, leaving that aside.
Well, to start, tomorrow they'll have a parade for the Spring. They do it every year, but I'd been missing it. Last year was the only time I had a chance to see something. This year, I'm more attentive and want to see the parade. The only thing I dislike and that makes me feel bad is seeing how they decorate all the parade floats with tons of flowers. I understand that these flowers have been specially prepared and cultivated for these parades, but that doesn't take away from the feeling of being trash, wasting resources and even animal life for a parade. As a child, I wouldn't have cared, but as I grew older, I also gained more awareness, and I feel like trash too because I like to see beautiful things. I enjoy them, and then my mind starts to see the whole picture. Once you get out of ignorance, it's hard to live completely in peace.
I'd also like to take advantage of this season to get out more and wear my clothes because I've been noticing that lately I've only been wearing gym clothes and clothes to stay at home, so every time I take the time to clean out my closet, it seems like I'm finding new clothes because I've never worn them.
Saludos ladies, ya sé que vine tarde a este concurso pero también ya saben que no lo hago para participar y llevarme un premio, solamente me gusta venir aquí, me gusta leer lo que nos proponen para que nosotras podamos incluso reflexionar con las preguntas, se me hace interesante, trato de no perdérmelo cada semana, aquí va de esta:
Si vives en el hemisferio norte, ¿qué es lo que más anhelas del otoño? Si vives en el hemisferio sur, ¿qué es lo que más anhelas de la primavera? Si vives en el hemisferio medio, ¿qué es lo que más anhelas de esta temporada?
Yo vivo actualmente en el hemisferio sur, vivo en perú, aunque lo particular de este país es que estando casi en la zona fronteriza esta parte cruza la línea ecuatorial, lo cual hace que esté al hemisferio norte, interesante ¿verdad?. Pero bueno, dejando eso de lado.
Bueno, para empezar mañana harán un desfile por el inicio de la primera vez, lo hacen todos los años pero yo me lo había estado perdiendo, el año pasado fue que tuve un poco de la oportunidad de ver algo, este año estoy más atenta y quiero ver el desfile, lo único que me desagrada y que me hace sentir mal, es ver como decoran todas las carrozas del desfile con un montón de flores. Entiendo que se han preparado y cultivado estas flores especialmente para estos desfiles pero eso no me quita la sensación de sentirme como una basura, desperdiciando recursos y hasta vida animal por un desfile, de pequeña no me habría importado pero a medida que fui creciendo también fui ganando más consciencia, y me siento como basura también porque me gusta ver las cosas lindas, las disfruto y después mi mente empieza a ver todo el panorama completo, una vez que sales de la ignorancia, es difícil vivir completamente tranquilo.
También me gustaría aprovechar esta temporada para salir un poco más y poder usar mi ropa porque he estado notando que últimamente solo uso ropa de gym y de estar en casa, entonces cada vez que me tomo el tiempo de ordenar mi armario, pareciera que estoy encontrando prendas nuevas porque nunca las he usado.
